I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! I was going through my old VHS's and I found half of this movie. The other half was written over! I looked at IMDB, and I saw that it wasn't on DVD. This pisses me off. The other half of the tape was one of the 1990s Disney Channel Remakes. They remade Freaky Friday and Escape to Witch Mountain and a couple others! I loved those remakes I want them all on DVD!
Now, back on topic. When Susie Q first came out, it was on Disney Channel 24/7. Every time I checked it was on! I loved it. That was the girl from the Power Rangers and the guy was Jimmy Olsen #2 on Lois and Clark: The New Adventure of Superman! I would love for this movie to be on DVD!
We need season sets of all DCOSs and all DCOMs on DVD! And Better Cover Art!
The pink ranger (and the girl in Felicity) and Jimmy Olsen were the reason we watched it, lol. I remember this was a fun movie that I never minded watching again. My favorite part was when they were in jail and the policemen got freaked out and all that. Was Shelly Long the mother? I forget. I think she was. And the little sister Teri reminds me of Pim. I wonder if they'll put it on DVD. The chances are good since these random Disney movies are becoming catalogue titles DVDs.
IMDb.com wrote:Susie Q was only going on a date one night when the car got hit and fell off a bridge. Now Susie has come back to help her family. A teenager named Zach Sands moves into Susie's old house. Zach's father died in a car accident so his family are his mother and his sister, Penny Sands. Zach soon finds out that he is able to see Susie and he learns what is going on. As Susie explained to Zach there is a Heaven. But after death people are sent back to Earth to help their families. And sometimes when those people can't help them they get special help. And that is why Zach can see her. So that he could help her family. In fact, Zach is the only one who can see Susie. Will Zach be able to help Susie?
or if you want a more condensed version:
IMDb wrote:Susie Quinn is a teen angel from the 50's, who died in a car crash, and comes back to life 40 years later to help out her financially strapped parents and Zach, a fatherless teen.
Here you go, Disney Lover

I love this movie also. Unfortunately it has not hit dvd yet. I emailed disney asking them about it a while back and they said they do not own the rights to it.
I loved this movie. It was such a good one at that. I would watch it frequently on The Disney Channel. I always loved the 50's flash backs and the Susie ghost in the bedroom. I remember when they broke though a wall to get to her bedroom because it has been boarded up to keep it how she left it. After I saw that I tried doing that in my house. lol Boy did I learn a lesson. Went right though the wall into the bathroom shower.
Ive had the biggest urge to watch this movie lately, its a shame that it isnt on DVD. Ive been watching old school Power Rangers on Toon Disney for the past week and Ive been dying to watch this movie. I remember the first time I saw it I definately cried, lol. Disney needs to show all these good movies again. ::sigh::
I remember this, but other than the clothes and the chick from power rangers, the plot escapes me. I'm pretty sure I remember liking it. I know I've seen it on disney countless times. They aired it a lot around the same time they frequently showed Adventures in babysitting and wish upon a star. There was one other movie they showed alot too about some chick who is a runaway and runs off to some forest, but I have no idea what it was called. Its too bad they don't air anything like this anymore.
Oh My God! I love this movie! I've seen it like three times, and here in Australia they screen it like once every two or three years, as the Midday Movie on Channel Seven. I hope that it comes to DVD one day, even without special features, though I assume it would.

I was just thinking about this movie the other day! I remember when Disney Channel played it all the time, but I never watched it. All I remember is one time when flipping the channels the younger sister said something like, "It's 1995 everything's on computers now." Now I really want to see it. But maybe the Disney Channel will play it one day, they still play My Date with the President's Daughter.
