Luke... why is it that whenever someone edits something, it says at the bottom of the post: edited last on blah blah blah edited blah blah blah times...........
i know why it's there obviously, but personally (and i wonder if im the only one), i find it kinda annoying.... i dunno it just seems to take away from the post. you end up sorta thinking "ooh... i wonder what he posted there that he needed to edit? was it interesting? why did he do it? did he change his mind about an opinion?".... and so on.
Now i know this is perfectly legitiamte, because after all... that is what the person is doing. but it makes it all feel so artificial in a way... i dunno...
this probably isn't making much sense but if it does... take it into account (whatever that's supposed to mean).
Thanks!

They do say, Mrs M, that verbal insults hurt more than physical pain. They are, of course, wrong, as you will soon discover when I stick this toasting fork into your head. - Blackadder the Third

I don't know how to make an exception and I agree it's kinda odd/annoying. If you're quick enough to edit a post before someone else replies you won't get that message. Interestingly, I get the message not when I edit other people's messages, but when I edit my own. So I edit your post, no "Edited by Luke" message. I edit MY post, and I get one.
Omigod! i just realized! you can edit our messages!
whatever happened to freedom of speech??

Well, since this is a privately run website Luke can pretty much do what he wants. He is the admin and becaus ethis is HIS domain he, in theory, can edit any of our posts to his heart's content.
But I'm fairly certain all that power has not gone to his head.
He would end wars and peace would rule on earth...
correction: he would end was and peace and he would rule the earth!!

You should know by now that I'm not creative enough or opinionated enough to come up with anything on my own - what I normally do is take a poll and then do whatever you guys want...so you come up with my superhero name. Or don't. Your call.
I only edit posts to fix grammar, etc. and I do that right after I make the actual post so in most cases I don't get that message tacked onto my posts.
