I'm sorry if this topic has been commented on before, but has anybody watched the Cars teaser from their Incredibles DVD lately?

That scene wasn't even used in the actual movie - and the animation/voices are totally off.

What we just saw for Ratatouille could possibly not even be used at all. That said, I'm still really looking forward to it. I'm just sorry that it is starting to be labeled as a Dreamworks ripoff again - since Flushed Away is also about European rats and comes out first.

The main character Ratatouille might well be the ugliest main character so far in the history of Pixar films. The trailer also doesn't attract me like the previous Pixar films did. I don't have high hopes for it currently, but we'll see...

ComingSoon.net has posted the voice cast for Ratatouille. I can't wait for this movie to hit theaters!

Disney/Pixar's Ratatouille Voice Cast

ComingSoon.net has confirmed that Patton Oswalt, Brian Dennehy, Brad Garrett, Janeane Garofalo, Ian Holm and John Ratzenberger will voice Disney/Pixar's animated-adventure Ratatouille, opening June 29, 2007.

In the film, a rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great French chef despite his family's wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. When fate places Remy in the sewers of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Despite the apparent dangers of being an unlikely - and certainly unwanted - visitor in the kitchen of a fine French restaurant, Remy's passion for cooking soon sets into motion a hilarious and exciting rat race that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down.

Remy finds himself torn between his calling and passion in life or returning forever to his previous existence as a rat. He learns the truth about friendship, family and having no choice but to be who he really is, a rat who wants to be a chef.

Ratatouille is directed by Academy Award®-winning Brad Bird (The Incredibles) and co-directed by Academy Award®-winning Jan Pinkava (Geri's Game).

Edit: After I posted this, I also see that the front page for UltimateDisney.com has posted this information, minus John Ratzenberger. So, the information on voice cast is also posted there.

Well, at least we know what the movie will be about now. I wonder which part Mr. Ratzenberger will have?

I wonder, how will Pixar write the plot with Remy ending up being a chef (assumtion) for the restaurant without any interactions witht the humans? Unless rats can talk in this one.

Apple.com has a teaser poster at their site, which features the teaser trailer. It's only a small image, but, at least it's something.

I like that fat rat!! I think I'll enjoy Ratatouille more than Cars. I thought
Cars was kinda lame. Im not a big friend of GGI either, so it takes a lot to convince me. But Ratatouille could do it!!

Yeah, I think Ratatouille is going to be a great film, and I think it will be very successful. My favorite part from the trailer is when one of the rat says "You don't know what it is ... and you're eating it."

Pixar makes great films. I believe that Ratatouille will be one of their best since Finding Nemo. I really enjoy animal-oriented films, so the cute little rats will be very entertaining!
