Post by rnrlesnar »

I'm going to order a free DVD from disney with there buy 3 deal. The only two that I don't have that I want are Robin Hood or Ichabod and Toad. Which one would you recommend?

I would have to say Robin Hood all the way, but then again you might want to check with someone else because that is one of my favorite disney films, but Ichabod is great to and you get 2 stories instead of one.

Ichabod & Mr. Toad are both noticeably better than Robin Hood. :)

I think I'm going to go with Robin Hood. If I find Ichabod cheap somewhere, I'll just buy it. I have Ichabod and Mr. Toad on vhs under the "mini classics" series.

i picked ichabod because the chance of it being re-released on dvd in the near future is very slim. robin hood has more family appeal and so will more likely get an upgraded rerelease within the next few years.

I think Ichabod all the way!! It's an understated Classic by far. But I am biased since I also have the orginal LP for it as well.

I'd choose Robin Hood because the characters animation is really good, specially on Robin, Prince John and Sir Hiss.

"Ichabod and Mr. Toad" is the best movie, but "Robin Hood" has a lovely video transfer. :-)
I'd go with "Ichabod", though.

They are both great but Ichabod is really close to my heart as it's been a favorite of mine ever since I was a little one.

I've never seen Ichadbod, but I recently got the Robin Hood DVD. The movie's more charming than one would think...not the best, but I like it.

Ooooo, I suggest Robin Hood! People always put it down, and often say it has terrible animation, (?!) but it has got a lot of wit and never tries to be anything that it isn't. Great little film.

Definitely Ichabod and MR. TOAD!!!!!!!!!!! People always call it just "Ichabod", and forget about the Mr. Toad part-the Wind in the Willows segment is awesome! It could have been a feature length movie!!!!!
