In WDW, I've stayed at:
~Contemporary Resort
~Beach Club Resort (before there were villas)
~The Disney Inn (before it converted to Shades of Green)
~Polynesian Resort
~Old Key West
~Boardwalk Villas
~All-Star Music
~Villas at the Wilderness Lodge
~Saratoga Springs
I've also stayed at the Disneyland Hotel twice, the DVC resorts at Hilton Head Island and Vero Beach, and cruised on the Disney Magic. This past February, I stayed off Disney property for the first time on a Disney trip...all of the hotels at DLR were full, but my mom and I had a very nice experience at Holiday Inn Anaheim at the Parks.

Sooooooo, any tips about the resort before we go?
p.s. Since Port Orleans and Dixie Landings are one now, does that mean we can use their pool with the sea serpent water slide??

I've only stayed at a Disney Hotel once
and it was at the Villas at the Disney Institute. They were really cool because my whole family went and we had 2 bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, a kitchen and a really big living room. We also had a lake in the back yard and when we left the door open the ducks would just left themselves in.
