Amazon Question

Post by Sulley »

I noticed that Amazon has The Lion King Collector's Gift Set for a good price right now and for free shipping. I have never pre-ordered with them before (or with any site for that matter) and I was wondering if they were the site that delivers the packages before the release date, becasuse I couldn't handle not having TLK on or before the day it comes out, so the earlier the better. :P

I'm an international customer, so they might treat domestic packages differently, but they've been known to ship them a few days before the release date to me.

Not all the time mind you, but sometimes.

Ok, that was the worst and most useless answer ever.
Hope it helped some.

Typically I find Amazon ship discs on the Wednesday before release date for international customers, and they normally arrive in the UK on the Thursday or Friday after release date.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

For US customers, they'll usually ship the day before release. It will likely arrive Wednesday/Thursday-ish, but sometimes you'll get it on release date. Almost never before, though.
