Pictures are from Disneyania, a Swedish fan-site. I'm pretty sure that these are the genuine items. Note the British spelling of Mickey Mouse in Living Colour.

Thanks for the covers Anders, not as nice as the US tins but nice enough. Plus V. glad that disney have put the right spelling of Colour (i'm pickey about these things).

2099, you should definately send in a CV to BVUK, whoever is doing the promo job for DVD's there at the moment, really needs a helping hand!

Doesn't that blue background for the Disney DVD logo really fit into the rest of the cover design?

As I expected, no tins. No Limited Edition numbering either by the looks of it.

Ordered my set of play.com for £16.99, not to bad.

This set might be getting a bit of promo as well because on the 17th the disney channel is having a whole day celebrating Mickey since its his 75th birthday.

Well, it will need some promo, being as the release is less than a week away and most e-tailers have no covers and specs.

Another "triumph" for Disney UK PR.

Anyhow, nice to see somebody at Disney remembers Mickey's birthday. Now, does anyone know what Disney US is doing?

Oddly (or should I say pleasingly being as the blue wouldn't work on the orange design) The Lion King doesn't have them. The only UK Disney disc without the background blue?

Well, the supply won't be unlimited. I doubt a lot have been pressed, being as Disney's PR haven't even issued a press release yet (despite the fact the discs are out this coming Monday!)

Mmmm, Even though my TV prefers region 2 DVDs I won't be getting the R2 Treasure sets.
The R1 sets are cheaper and you get the cool tins.

Darn tootin'

They've been out since late november here in Scandinavia, how can they come out so much more later in the UK then?
