It would be annoying if someone sneezes at you without even covering his or her mouth nor saying "Excuse Me", right? I mean there are a lot of germs released from one sneezing person. Same goes with burping in public places, especially in a restaurant . If they burp so loud...oh! I can't explain it. :D
Also, a certain person who feels like farting should go away from a group of people, or stay away. It would be annoying if you smell it. This happened at my school once. One of my classmates farted during class and the smell traveled from one nose to another. No one wants to tell who farted. Our teacher told us that whoever farted should learn some manners and should excuse classl for a minute and fart at some place where there's nobody who can inhale it. It would be okay if you smell your own fart.

HOORAY for GhostHost! I support and fully agree with everything you just said.

And would like to add, for myself:
  • Sending E-Mail (none of the people I've mailed are mailing me back - though of course one of them is SONY HOME ENTERTAINMENT and the other is my best friend who recently had computer problems whom I haven't seen in at least 8 months)
  • People who assume other people don't have problems because they don't know them (for instance, men who whine about women's rights because they don't know what it's like to be a woman, they think they shouldn't have to imagine)
  • People who ignore crucial facts about certain people just so they can continue thinking they're cool

Idiotic drivers that fly down the highway at 90 miles an hour and flips you off when you end up passing them because you were patient and in a better lane, and they weren't and end up behind someone going below the speed limit. (yes this happens!)

High gas prices.

People who act like they know everything about a subject when in reality they know NOTHING.

The Self-Checkout- it NEVER works right! (Yes I know how to use it)

People who turn Sooooo slow at a light that you either don't make it before it turns red (when you are right behind it!) or you barely make it.

John Kerry/Bill Clinton/Ted Kennedy

People who talk LOUD on their cell phone at a store/restaurant/movie theater- the rest of us don't need to hear about your date last night!

Answering your cell phone at a movie theater during a movie- and carrying on a conversation!

People who cut you in line at a store and then cuss you out if you say anything to them.

In line to rent a video at a video store and all of the kids working there are either talking to each other or on the phone and pretend you aren't there.

Public restrooms- people are SOOOOO gross!

People who spit their gum out on the ground and then you have the joy of stepping in it and spending the next hour scraping it off your shoe.

Mondays.

Hummers- What's the point? They're ugly!!!

Parents who let their kids run wild down the middle of the lane when you are trying to find a parking space at the store (and then don't move when they know you are right behind them).

Parents/adults who walk down the middle of the lane when you are trying to find a parking space at the store (and then don't move when they know you are right behind them).

I could think of soooo much more, but I do want to maintain my sanity.

Yeah, as just annoying things, I'd like to mention:

-when people don't reply to e-mails: eeee, how are one suppose to know they got the info? And then you go: "Did you get my e-mail?"... "Yes, I did". Well..... thank you for letting me know!

-when you have to track down specific and important info on the Net and you don't get it: by this I mean, when you write to a person or company and they either take forever to reply, just don't do it, or when they do "sorry I can't help you more" (and you know they can/should do because they're the correct persons to do it)

-when you're in need of money and don't have it cause you have to pay debts

Lazario: Here's a question I've been meaning to ask you, do you even like Disney? I'm asking this because I recall you've said many times that you didn't own a single Disney DVD. Now I'm not saying the amount of Disney DVDs you own determines how a big of fan you are, but for someone who's seems to be a huge DVD collector and a big Disney fan it seems suspicious. That, and you have seemed to argue with almost every imaginable political issue more than once more than you ever talked about Disney. Can't you at least just bring those arguements to rest for a while, or bring them to another board? I just hope you know no one comes to this site to see you give your views about the world. It gets both tiring and annoying.

Anyway, here's several other rants I can think of that I didn't post earlier:

People who say Disney has lost the magic after The Lion King, or even after Mulan or Tarzan.

People who say Pixar is full or originallity while Disney doesn't in recent years.

People who say "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit aren't Disney films.

People saying that they want 2D to live, yet say every DTV studio should get closed. Whether you like them or not, aren't they making 2D movies?

Aaron delaying episode #11 of "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod"

People saying cats are dumber than dogs. I actually like both type of animals but I definetely prefer cats.

There are more, but I can't think of any at the moment.

Okay, whatever. I know what I paid in 1999 and I know what I paid yesterday- there's about a $3.00 difference there.

I knew I'd get a response from you Lazario.

I am not going to turn this thread into a political battle- I am already very familiar with where you stand.

$3 on a gallon - I realize that the difference is very considerable percentage-wise.

Still I believe the price you pay is very reasonable compared to what I pay. In other words: I'd LOVE to pay the gas price you say is high.

Well, that's too bad- I guess we're all dealing with it. I just meant that in the US it's the highest it's ever been.

I stand on the side everyone should stand on. The one that fights for the rights of those who don't have enough. No one should be treated like second class citizens. But all Republicans and conservatives are HELLBENT on drawing those lines and waving their flags over them like they think that's the way to be patriotic and then idiots buy into it. Don't be one of those idiots, I implore you.

I can understand how you'd make assumptions like that. When I joined this site, I had just bought several new Disney VHS's. So my posts regarding my actual collection happened way back there in March 2005 or whenever I joined. I have a very decent Disney VHS library because when family members have passed away (my grandmother on my mother's side, for instance), I've had first choice of what VHS's I would keep - they were split amongst the family members in varied amounts. She had a nice VHS collection. My parents kept the war movies and the oldies. I kept the Disney collection. And if you want to question me on my experience with Disney, I've been a serious fan ever since I was old enough to process the concept of the "House-Hold Name," and knew what to and not to associate with Disney. Furthermore, I've spoken about the Disney animated films on a great number of occasions and gone into detail in describing them that I think very few other members here are capable of. I study them, because they burn themselves into my eyes, my memory. I'm not bragging, nor am I making overstatements. It's just how I am in regards to Disney's hyper-artistic films. I am a very big Disney fan.
Timon/Pumbaa fan wrote:That, and you have seemed to argue with almost every imaginable political issue more than once
Only the ones that matter. And that's a common misconception, by the way. These are very controversial times we're living in. And I have a very big mouth. And I don't say what I say to start an argument with some dip who can't comprehend that they're not the only one living in the universe (I'm not refering to you here), I say what I say as an end-all. The definitive answer to the discussion. All the "confrontation" that's gone on here has not been about a difference in opinions, it's a result of the fact that everyone who feels like they have to continue the "arguement" with me is confused about something. I am not.
Timon/Pumbaa fan wrote:...more than you ever talked about Disney.
You're very hip on judging me. Let me give you a bit of advice : stop. I accept that I'm a little bit different than everyone else. Can you?
Timon/Pumbaa fan wrote:Can't you at least just bring those arguments to rest for a while, or bring them to another board?
I'd like to. But all I can do is ask myself why do I feel compelled to reply when I have something to say. I'm not afraid to be judged by someone who knows what they're doing. I have very low standards for everyone else- I mean, I don't think it's a lot to ask that people be a little responsible for what they say, the statements they make, the people they support. Because there are only tiny differences and experiences in life that separate the wisdom of liberals from the skull density-thickness of conservatives.
Timon/Pumbaa fan wrote:I just hope you know no one comes to this site to see you give your views about the world. It gets both tiring and annoying.
You have no idea what you're talking about. Do you know what is really tiring and annoying? Apathy, hatred, ignorance, fear, and oppression. I think before anyone tries to challenge me on what I'm saying, they'll think about what it actually feels like to be a victim of these crimes. I agree the fight for true freedom and equality gets boring. But if all our real freedom fighters quit, who will protect our civil rights? I take issue with people who don't care about the rights of others. I've made so many positive statements and all people here can think of to do is to try to wipe me out. My arguments are about ONE DAY MAYBE WE'LL ALL CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER and HAVE TRUE FREEDOM. If you don't care about that - what are you bothering to open your mouth for?!

I was trying to stay quiet on this subject, but when you start calling people names who you don't even know, I'm going to tell you what I think.

You have low standards for everyone else- meaning Conservatives? What we believe is any less than what you believe? Liberals constantly complain about the lack of freedom, but Conservatives can't have the freedom to give our views. SAD.

This is also what I love about liberals. Unless you are griping or calling people that don't have your same views names, you aren't happy. In all of the times I've read your posts, in not ONE have you ever given a suggestion as to what we need to do. You just gripe and complain and say how awful Conservatives are. Lazario, I care about you even though I don't agree with your views. I want everyone to have freedom. I don't agree with homosexuality or abortion, but it's there. It's you and everyone elses freedom. Why do you keep accusing us of not wanting everyone to have freedom?

I'm not "dense' or whatever other name you want to call us. I have a college degree, I'm very well educated, thank you. I have views and I'm not stupid just because they are different from yours. That is where I have a problem with liberals, because you believe you are more intellectual because your way is the only way- nomatter what any other person thinks- FINE. But don't call me names, I don't call you names. Calling people or groups of people names (idiot, dense or otherwise) mean you lack respect. Do you Lazario? I think it's sad that you always have to turn a simple, innocent thread into a big upheaval because you have to get your 2 cents in. We all know what you think. There are those that agree and those that don't. Just understand that and move on.

By the way, I don't fly the United States flag or any flag to get anyone to buy into anything. I fly it because I love the country I live in and would not live in any other. Why is it that all of a sudden flying it imposes anything on anyone?

As for American politics - it seems unfortunate to have just two political parties of any significance, since differences tend to be very much about "right vs wrong", "good vs evil". At least that's what it looks like from my far-away point-of-view.

I consider myself pretty much both "conservative" and "liberal"...

DisneyPrincess, you clearly do not understand a great deal about people. If you did, you wouldn't be a conservative. The rules conservatives make do not work for everyone. They barely work for even a significant portion of Americans. And it is due to a lack of education that people make the mistake of thinking they do. You don't have to be stupid to be misinformed or lack serious life experience. Which you obviously do.

It's obvious because you just made the incredible mistake of saying you don't agree with homosexuality. If you understood what it was, you would know that you can't make a statement like that. Because it's my life and the lives of millions of people around the world. It's not a choice, and as far as millions of people around the world know - they were born with it. It sounds like you really can't get used to that. What does it matter? The only reason anyone gets away with saying they don't agree with it is because some people claim the Bible says homosexuality is bad.

So now, is that a legitimate excuse for you to say you don't agree with it? No. Because in addition to having the freedom to have sex with any living consenting adult human beings that we want to, people have the freedom to choose what religion they belong to. What a world it actually is, isn't it? The day conservatives accept our freedoms - that's the day I'M JENNIFER LOPEZ!

That's why conservatives are wrong. They are wrong because they tell us what living consenting adult human beings we are allowed to have sex with, what religions we are allowed to practice and believe, what manner of behavior is appropriate for women, who is allowed to serve in the military, who is allowed to wed and receive what legal spouse rights, what we are allowed to do with our bodies, what methods women are allowed to use as birth control... They want to control our lives. They identify who they see as not living the way conservatives live and try to make laws to designate how we're best suited to live like them.

By the way, I agree with A LOT (not all) of the things you said about liberals. But I dare you to provide a real example of how and where liberals actually took away one of your rights!!! I don't go purposefully looking for the underdog or people with no rights - I'm not complaining. I'm speaking the truth about things that can't be accepted in our society if we are to say we are a society ruled by any kind of moral system. Morals mean you do what's right. Not what makes people more comfortable. Conservatives want the world of people to play by their rules - practice the same sexuality and religion, act the same way, think the same things... I don't accept that.
