They look great, Princessmarlo! Thank you for sharing!

Have any of the other floats been removed to make room for them, or are they purely additions?

as far as i know none have been taken out, they had these right at the beginning of the parade, so I am guessing none were taken out, I also have no idea if they are permanent or not, but I cam call guest relations tomorrow and see if they no and let you no. The Cars eyes also moved which was cool, but these were the only 2 there, maybe they will add more! I should be going to see the tour cars on the 20th or 21st, I live by Disney so I should be able to get there and take pics and I will post those also!

My only question is: How do the people inside drive them?

Or are they alive like in the movie and drive by themselves?

I think they are suppose to be alive like in the movie, they may be remote controlled, but there eyes moves like they do in the movies, and they have girls in roller skates holding oil and a crew chief and a fake camera man around them. So I think they are represented as they are in the movie.

The parades are something I've really come to enjoy at the Disney parks, as I think they are a huge part of what they were set up for: bringing the movies to life and giving the little kids (and us big kids) a chance to see the characters up close.

While I'm still not that excited about Cars as a film, I have to admit that the characters seem tailor made to this kind of display. (And if I was cynical, I'd say that was the plan all along).

Thanks for the photos, Princessmarlo. Bless your cotton socks.

that is pretty cool!! Thanks for sharing! I assume their meet & greet/picture spot will be at the new stunt show if they come out daily.
