Chris and Bo are completely different.

Anyway I was watching Inside Edition and ET a little earlier and they were talking about Chris. Basically that he was the favorite and left in a shock, etc... Anyway they said and even Ryan Seacrest said that Chris already has one offer from a "major" band, but he can't sign until after the AI tour.

They also said the favorite to win now was Taylor, with Katherine 2nd. I really hope its a Taylor and Elliot final though.

Chris was offered the position of lead singer for the band Fuel

I had heard that, but wasn't sure it was 100% true. If so congrats to Chris.

I think that Elliot is starting to show just what a star he is. I'm actually quite fond of Taylor! Katherine has a very nice voice as well. But I think people underestimated that Chris would be safe and didn't vote for him. I wasn't surprised that Chris got out--he's already star material and didn't need to win American Idol just to get a label. I honestly thought he should've been out because he's really good..

For next week's performance (my favorite when it comes to top 3 music selections!), Kat has to step up to save herself because people know that Taylor is already in. The real battle, I think, is between Kat and Elliot. It'd be quite boring if the end was Kat vs. Elliot...that's my opinion.

Very well said. I think that the polls are going to be split between Elliot and Taylor. I think that we will see Katharine McPhee eliminated next week.

This has to have been the best season ever for American Idol. I found myself riveted to every show this year, and that has never happened in previous years.

I am sad that Chris was eliminated, but he has a very bright future ahead and I can't wait for the AI Tour '06 to come close to Wichita.

Well, I think we all knew Chris was gonna be famous whether he won or not- It was just shocking that he got voted off, and FOR A THIRD WEEK, McPhake didn't. I HATE HER!

BTW Go Eliot and Taylor! :P

Maybe I'm the only one missing things here not watching Idol all that much, but why bother having judges who rate performances during the show if their comments ultimately mean nothing? It's a popularity contest. If it was really about performance, Simon would have the final say in who is worthy of a record contract.

The Final Three show last night was incredible. Katharine McPhee's version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" stole the show and may have won her a spot in the finale next week at the Kodak Theater. Elliott was pretty good, but Taylor Hicks was awesome. His rendition of "You Are So Beautiful" was just amazing and really showed the 'soul' that he has. The Soul Patrol will keep Taylor on for the finale next week.

Looks like it could be Katharine and Taylor in the finals........Personally I hope it is Elliott and Taylor, but it is the votes that count. Hope that all of you who watched the show called in your votes.

I'm also going for Elliot and Taylor in the finals although I have no clue how it will end up tonight. I went in last night wanting Elliot but I came out wanting Taylor to win the whole thing. He just has alot of fun performing and is a good singer. Katherine sings well, but to me she seems alittle full of herself and she goes too over the top on her songs for me.

I think after last night it will be a Taylor/Katherine final. While Katherine did good on Somewhere Over The Rainbow, I thought the other two songs were just ok. She does have a problem of oversinging a song. Taylor was great last night.

Its going to be real close, but I think Elliot will be gone tonight. :( If it wasn't for her Somewhere Over The Rainbow though I think Katherine would be going home. Simon did well picking that song for her.

I prefer seeing both Katherine and Elliot in the finals instead of Tayor...

Remember next week is the 2 hour finale for both 24 and American Idol.
Also the 1 hour finale of House...

Well the votes are in and Elliott is a sad memory. He got voted off and Kat McPhat and Taylor are going to the finals next week. Looks like Taylor will be the next American Idol.

Would have preferred it to be a Taylor Hicks-Chris Daughtry runoff for the title, but Taylor has proved his mettle and brought his A-game to the last couple of weeks.

He will be a good representative of American Idol.

Yea, looks like it'll be Hicks but you never know what could happen. He might pick the wrong song or has a brain freeze and forgets lyrics, you never know.

Sad to see Elliot go, and I really hope that Taylor wins. However I have a wierd feeling that Katherine will end up winning. I really hope I'm wrong, but somehow I think she will.

I watched the eliminations tonight with my parents and they were both mad that Katherine was still in and Elliot got sent home. I had told them earlier today that Elliot would probably go home (DialIdol gets it right again), so it really wasn't a shock. They also had them placed in order on the show tonight, according to the DialIdol predictions.

Elliot seems like a nice guy, and I really wish him the best of luck. Out of all the contestants he seems like one of the few I could sit down and "hang out" with. While I'm sure Chris (and Taylor if he doesn't win) will get picked up and do well, I hope that someone will pickup Elliot and give him a chance. That guy deserves it.

I really do hope Taylor wins. God knows I've been voting like crazy for him. As I said, before, the very first time I heard Taylor, I knew he was an American Idol. He has such an awesome personality, great soul, and the voice to back it up.

After re-watching the Final Three show and the results show I have the opinion that it will be Taylor Hicks as the next Idol. Katharine, according to what the judges have been saying the past couple of weeks, is really very one-dimensional and 'has a lot of work to do' to become the singer she can be.

One great thing about next week's finale is that all of the Top Ten will be back and we will get to hear them sing one more time. Also the newest "American Idol" CD comes out next Tuesday, May 23rd.

The Soul Patrol is rolling strong, and Taylor Hicks should become the next American Idol.

I hope like hell Taylor Hicks wins (not that I actually watch this stupid show). But if people keep predicting that he will win... he might lose. Isn't that exactly what happened when Ruben won, not Clay? Every loser and their mother was betting on Clay and... HA HA, they lost their shirts. Is it down to 2 yet? If it's between him and the girl, it'll probably be him. But then they'll make us think it's her.
