Let's Get To Know Each Other Better!
I was wondering if we could have a better idea with whom we're talking to, involving details which are not in the user biography, but which are not dangerous if revealed either.
Please give your details only if you want to.
These are mine:
Name: Julian Carter
Age: 17
Sex: male
Nationality: Maltese
Avatar: 'Walt Disney' written in white on blue backgorund. Two snaps of Kuzco and Yzma, taken from the DVD, copied into Microsoft Paint, their size manipulated, saved as JPEG and uploaded to ultimatedisney.com.
P.S. The nationality is particularly interesting. Are there any people from small countries like mine? Malta is probably one of the smallest states of the world, though not the smallest. (The Vatican City holds that record).
Anyone from other small European states like Andorra and San Marino?
If anyone wants to know more about Malta and our language I'll be glad to tell you.

I like mostly animated films and comedies (film wise). I am an aspiring actor. I have been since the town production of "The Music Man" where I played Winthrop. I recently have been takeing guitar lessons. I'm not that good at it but with practice, I'll get better. I have many DVDs but a large chunk is not in my DVD Aficionado account. I count my DVDs at least once a month but I forgot what the last number was. I know there is other stuff but I can't think of 'em right now

Age: 20 (21 on June 7)
Sex: male
Nationality: Filipino-American, with Spanish and Chinese mixed in there as well.
As a kid I wanted to be a scientist so I could invent a time machine (yeah, I loved Back to the Future, lol). But along with scientist, I wanted to be an actor (when I was around 9 or 10), until I had developed an extreme case of stage fright in the 6th grade after our school play of "A Christmas Carol". For years after that, I've found it very hard to stand in front of a group of people and be center of attention. But since WDW, I've grown much more comfortable with it. Anyways, in high school I pretty much wanted only one thing: to be a soap opera writer (silly, huh?). But I was committed. I joined the school's communications program, did stuff like the morning announcements and the local cable show we had (though I rarely was ever seen on-camera), and I did a lot of my own writing as well.
After high school I spent a year and a half at Temple University. More or less I was just a body there, not taking anything in. After Temple, I went to WDW to work, Magic Kingdom OutDoor Foods (MK ODF). Working there was my first *real* job (I used to get paid in high school as part of our videography team), and I enjoyed it so much that it's one of the reasons I'm going back this summer.
When I came back home, I started going to community college to rebuild my GPA and chose Education as my new major. But this past semester I've been doing more with the theatre department that I'm considering a change to Creative Writing and be a playwright. But for now, Education is my official major.
Don't know what else there is to talk about, aside from my DVD collection. I started collecting in 2002 or so, just buying a movie I liked if it was a good price. But I didn't start to seriously collect until 2004. Right now, I've got around 450+ titles in my collection, which rounds out to a little less than 700 discs. Still, it's not quite as impressive as other people here, but it's a decent collection for me.

I was in the pub the other night, and I saw this sign behind the bar that said "Don't accept drinks from strangers".
I then realised that I didn't actually know the bartender(s), so I was in a bit of a bind. Was this a sign that I shouldn't be drinking at all, or did I have to get to know the pretty young barmaids better before I could ask them to give me a drink?
Then a crazy old Scottish guy who was completely off his gourd bought us drinks and started crapping on about MacGonagall.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Topaz_McGonagall
NOT the character from the Harry Potter books.
Anyways, that's what I thought of when I read this thread's title. My stats can be found in the other thread similar to this one.

Age: 20 (21 on October 27!)
Sex: Female
Nationality: Filipino-American (here's the Proof; let's see how many will catch this!)
I know, I'm like restarting again so I'm using this as a way to re-introduce myself to everyone. So, I'm Krystal & I like Pink, Winnie the Pooh, & Julie Andrews (in no particular order of course). Since college started, I've been addicted to Sudoku. I work full time as an instructional assistant, and while I spend a lot of my time on the computer, it's mostly for my online classes (I'm also a full-time student).
I'm currently a Psychology major, but I'm also thinking about minoring (or majoring) in Child Development as I absolutely LOOOOVE kids! But we'll see how that goes. Oh, and I'm a Shopaholic: I spend too much on shoes & DVDs. Our DVD collection isn't up to date, but we're planning on selling half (if not most) of them anyway...
I figured 900 was way too much anyway!
But that's me in a nutshell. I'll try my best to come back every day or week to post!
