Rain = sick ?

Post by jacambece »

Yesterday i spend most of the day inside due to rain, but there were times when i had to go out...when i did i got soaked. Today i have been feeling very ill...can they be related? i went online to find out and i couldnt find anything,but i always remember my mother telling me that if i went out in the rain i would get sick...i think i am starting to think thats true.

Maybe if you're out in the rain too long, then you could get like pnemonia (Sp?) or something like that. But if you are out for brief minutes, and then completely dry off, I wouldn't see why you would get sick. But that's just IMO.

It depends what you're doing too. I sometimes cycle in the rain and get completely soaked and I usually never get sick from that, but that maybe due to the exercise. Otherwise, if I'm doing nothing I have gotten a cold in the past, but also remembering that a cold is a viral sickness.
