Almost 2 weeks early? This guy posted April 28th, that is almost 2 weeks before street date.

I have never known any online retailer send it that early, Amazon are sticklers to dates and PlayUsa.com usually post it a day or two before release.

Without true pictures I have a very hard time believing any of it.

Studios send out screener copies to press outlets, like UltimateDisney, in advance so that they can review them prior to release date.

Yes - but this guy wasn't in the press, he said he bought it online.

The guy posted pictures, so he did indeed get the DVD so early.

If the guy imports his discs, it's quite easy to get them early from certain outlets. After all, why should a business obey the street date when they're ignoring the "suggestion" not to export the discs?

I was pleasently surprised this month to get a copy of Magic pop through my letter box three weeks before it's "official" release date.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Well as far as I know he was in the US. I import my discs and never get them early, I wish I did.

On May 9th, Betty White will be on 'The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson" to promote the DVD release of the fifth season.

Season 5 not unedited?!

Post by MadonnasManOne »

It appears that Disney may have taken up a bad practice. Instead of offering the full, unedited episodes, there are apparently differences in some Season 5 DVD episodes, compared to the original broadcast episodes.

Also, make sure to read down in the comments section. This being the case, Disney should really be contacted about this. If we are getting the edited versions, then why even buy the DVD releases?! We could just watch them on Lifetime!
