I'm excited; I've been playing Kingdom Hearts II recently, and have really started liking the FF characters, so I'll be getting the 2-disc edition when it comes out.

I have really no want to buy the movie, but my friend is going to pee herself if she doesn't get the movie the day it comes out. She's downloaded the japanese version and she's watched it, like, ten times. I've watched it with her, and if anything, the artwork of the film is AMAZING! The stunts and action sequences are also really cool.

If you are a FF buff, I definitely recommend this film.

Final Fantasy Advent Children sales

Hi,

I'd like to know how well is this movie doing. Not that I'm a fan of the games (never played them, but bought the movie anyways).

The thing is that everywhere I go they have it on their TVs and when I go to check out of curiosity how many DVDs they have.... they don't have anymore!

I've heard of other places selling out of them, but for some reason, my Wal-Mart still has lots left! :o From what I hear, AC is Amazon's #1 dvd right now. *googles more and finds nothing*

I don't know much about the DVD sales (which you might not find until after the weekend) but there have been many MANY commercials for FF7 where we are. My friend got it the day it came out and watched it. We were a little disappointed at the bonus features, but it was an overall very pleasing DVD.

Also, the most of the people that voice FF characters in the first Kingdom Hearts game reprise their roles in this movie...including Christy Carlson Romano as Yuffie.

Then, this means that AC is going to make history as the first "straight to DVD" movie to break sales records in history.

Wasn't this released to theaters in Japan?

It looks like it was also shown at several Film Festivals.

That's why I said: "straight to DVD". Meaning to the the rest of the world.

To me, straight to video means Cinderella 4: Cinderella's New Fella...

There are tons of foreign titles released in the US on DVD that weren't shown theatrically here.
