Disney Magical Beginnings for Youngsters

Post by Loomis »

Well, Disney have finally worked out a way to crack the pre-school market and indoctrinate them earlier!

A new program encourages parents with small children to visit the park during Disneyland/WDW's typical "off-seasons".

Disney starts Magical Beginnings packages for Walt Disney World and Disneyland vacations with toddlers

What:
Designed for families with preschoolers and toddlers, Disney's Magical Beginnings offers special packages, entertainment, amenities, and other details to help facilitate a Disney vacation for families with very young children...

When:
Magical Beginnings at Walt Disney World creates a new travel season just for youngsters. From August 13 to September 30, families can visit the Walt Disney World Resort with a package that includes a five-day, four-night stay at a resort hotel, theme park tickets, and a free Disney Dining plan, which includes two meals and one snack per day.
At the Disneyland Resort, the Magical Beginnings packages will be available August 13 to November 21 and include accommodations, tickets, early entry to Fantasyland for toddler-friendly attractions such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Storybook Land Canal Boats, and Peter Pan’s Flight.
The article also mentions Wiggles (Aussie!) and other concerts at WDW and new character greets at Disneyland's Toontown.

Oh well, guess that's the end of the 'September is the BEST time to go for quiet times' theory...

Any idea if they'll continue this next year or do you think this is a one year only thing? We're having our second child at the end of August so this year wouldn't work out but the following year would be great.
