The last one was in May 2005 and was "Heroes & Heroines":

There are no plans for a new one right now - it's a lot more work than I have time for at the moment. But there have been some good ideas vollied around, which makes a sixth countdown a definite possibility.

Hey Luke why don't we have a contest of the top 25 favorite Animated Classic series like DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, Gargoyles, Aladdin, Darkwing Duck Tale Spin and others.

Does anyone like this idea?

Well, there are only slightly more than 25 animated Disney series and as the oldest ones are turning 21 years old, the use of "classic" is debatable. But yes, something along those lines has already been proposed and is one of the topics I would consider for a future countdown. But like I said, none is happening anytime soon, unfortunately.

At a site that celebrates Disney films, to be picking the 50 Worst would be very...well, unorthodox. And, of course, people will pick stuff like "Chicken Little" because they see it as the killer of 2D animation and a horrible Pixar-wannabe, without objectively looking at the film.

Plus, there will be a lot of little-known titles that will hardly get any recognition in a best or worst category. No one will care enough to vote for "The Boatniks" as one of the 50 worst because no one will have cared enough to see it to begin with.

And of course, there will be a bias to the more recent films. For every one person who'll say "Ten Who Dared" is one of the worst Disney films, you'll have twenty who'll say "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" is one of the worst.

I, personally, would love seeing a 50 Best Sidekicks in Disney Films or 50 Best Endings to Disney Films.

I like the idea of "20 Worst Disney Movies", actually. It puts a spin on a worn-out thing, though I think that we can't exactly limit it just to live action, and Escapay listed some possible faults in the poll.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think we should have "memories" specials, where everybody sends in memories/reviews of certain things. Possibilities include specific films/shorts/TV series, theme parks or grouped films/shorts/TV series (example, animated classics or Silly Symphonies)

I'll agree with Escapay that the "Worst Disney Movies" countdown isn't a good idea. 1) It's a unnecessary 2) I think A LOT of use would confuse "Worst Disney Movie" to "Most Overrated Disney movie". Escapay and I would know!

As for a future countdown, I would like a shorts countdown(though very tricky). If not, then maybe we could do an AFI and do top 50 Disney quotes or Top 25 Disney scores.

Maybe a shorts countdown would be possible, if broken down into groups such as Goofy countdown or Silly Symphonies countdown.

Although there is always the problem that many people think one donald duck cartoon is much like another, and that most will have only seen a handful as well.

Yeah, the shorts countdown is tricky. There's just too many to choose from.
