Secrets of the Pirates' Inn and other TV treasures

I was recently reminded of a Disney TV movie circa 1969, "Secrets of the Pirates' Inn." This, to me, was one of the best movies Disney ever made for TV, yet I haven't seen it since 1969! How sad it is that so many of these truly great early TV productions languish in the vaults. Why can't they be brought out on DVD? There are so many of us who would love to see them again! Especially "Secrets"!

I would also like to see this film. My Wife's Great Aunt is the author of the book. She had several others that Disney considered but I believe Secrets of the Pirates Inn was the only one they turned into a movie. Our family has contacted Disney several times and asked if they could show the movie, but they have yet to do so. We have seveal copies of the book but no copies of the movie.

I saw Secret's of the Pirates Inn years ago on Vault Disney and loved it! I also loved the three part mini-series The Secret of Boon Castle starring Kurt Douglas. I WANT A VAULT DISNEY CHANNEL!!!!!l
