Lion King(or InterActual Player)Problem

Post by LKFan17 »

Hello everyone :) . I am new here, and someone from livejournal told me to come here since I need help with my Lion King DVD I just got yesterday. I just got The Lion King DVD for my birthday, and just a couple minutes ago, I was about to put the DVD in for the first time to see how everything looks. I put it in, it loads, and then it brings up this message that said 'Interactual Player is not working with your computer. Change your screen resolution and/or color scheme.'(or something like that) I fixed both at the same time and it still doesnt work. Has anyone else had this problem?

Interactual Player is some pretty bad software and it causes lots of problems with lots of discs. Do you have another DVD program on your computer like WinDVD or PowerDVD? If so, I'd try those and see if they give you any problems. I doubt they will.

Sorry, I really don't have any idea then. But I do find it odd that you'd have a DVD-ROM drive on your computer and no software to play it. Unless Interactual was the software with the player - I thought that only came on individual DVDs. Anyhow, when I've had problems with Interactual, I've always found it easier to use something else than to try and figure it out. It's very buggy. You could try downloading a free DVD-ROM software player - such a thing might exist. WinDVD has an evaluation copy you can download - just to see if it would work with that, maybe.

Thanks alot :-). I may just need to call technical support and see what they can do. But with all of my DVD's, its always brought up IP.

i recomend you to get PowerDVD is a great software than looks amazing, supports dts and you can make screencaps, two different subtitles on screen and a lot of cool features...it doesn´t have any problem with any disc, Interactual player is crap, I can´t watch any dvd with it.

I found out the problem-I think. I went on the InterActual website, and they had an FAQ for the type of problem I was having with it :) . Thanks for your help!

well, Interactual player is included on many dvds, specially Disney...

PowerDVD and WinDVD are not for free, you can download only trial versions from their website, perhaps you can find full cracked versions on the net, but my little angel (just like Kronk) tells me not to talk about it on this board.

Yep. I was just thinking that. When I got HPSS (Harry Potter), it installed interactual player for me and has worked ever since (except with LK of course).
