Between yesterday and today, I've picked up:

Chronicles of Narnia: LWW - Widescreen Edition
Chronicles of Narnia: LWW - 2 Disc Special Edition
Goof Troop, Vol. 1
Crash - Director's Cut Edition

I was going to get the 2-disc edition of Walk the Line, but it was $30. I think I might wait a while, and get it on sale sometime.
Disneyland Trips: 1983, 1992, 1995, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, Aug 2018
Walt Disney World Trips: 1999, 2007, 2011, 2014, 2016, ~Dec 2018~, ~Apr 2019~
Favorite Disney Movies: Peter Pan, 101 Dalmatians, Tangled, The Princess and the Frog, Enchanted, FROZEN

According to DVDAficionado, it's already OOP. If that's true, you might want to get it now.

Thanks! I did not know that. Maybe I'll shop around for it this week yet, and see if any other stores have a better price on it. I saw it for $29.99 @ Target - maybe I'll check Wal-Mart and Best Buy. :)

Niiiiiiiiiice!

 Sadly, I was sick as all yesterday, so I sat alone and depressed while $45 worth of Target gift-cards went unused. Tonight I'll pry my Mom and see if she'll bring me there.

I need some "Brokeback Mountain", dammit!

Note to Little Merman, I would have all three versions of "Crash" in my collection before I even let the shadow of "BM" near my collection. While it was a good movie (speaking of Brokeback Mountain) it was not one of those films that I would watch more than once, thus I won't waste my money on it. However, "Crash" being found by the Academy to be the "Best" movie of 2005, I am proud to have this film in my collection and it is one that I watch more than once in a month. There are so many stories within stories in this movie and it should be seen before being criticized by 'children' like you.

While visiting my local Wally World (Wal-Mart) I was cruising through the racks and found one of the best 'mis-priced' collections ever. Garbage Pail Kids - The Complete Animated Series 2-Disc set was priced at $9.44 and having seen it for $19.82 at most of the other Wal-Marts, I jumped at it and paid my money and left the store in a hurry. I like finding mis-priced items whether it is DVD's or CD's or whatever.

Um... Er... "Kids" like us, have as much a right to criticize a movie as you do. In my opinion Crash was a piece of mainstream drama junk, and Brokeback was a stunning piece of hard work. Nothing of what I said makes it less wrong just because I'm a kid, so if you could please stop with the patronizing attitude, it would be greatly appreciated.

Um, yeah. Excuse you.

Thanks very, very much for your dazzling advice, but, I have already seen "Crash" - precisely 3 times - being that I own the Single-Disc.

So how's 'bout next time you do some research before ragging on someone. Yes, I might not find "Crash" even near "Brokeback Mountain"'s stature, but, it's my damn opinion. You obviously prefer this so-called 'Best Picture', and that's perfectly fine.

I think Bill meant that Crash should be watched and compared OBJECTIVELY to Brokeback Mountain, whereas TLM has this unconditional love for BBM which may hinder his judgement of Crash.

Besides, it's Bill's money, TLM. Why be upset that he chose Crash over BBM?

As for me, going to Target tomorrow so I'll predict what I'm buying:

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe - 2-Disc Special Edition (that's a mouthful)
Bambi II (with buy-2-get-1-free on select Disney titles)
Sky High (with buy-2-get-1-free on select Disney titles)
Kronk's New Groove (with buy-2-get-1-free on select Disney titles)

And maybe Crash 2-Disc and BBM if I can spare any more green paper. BBM will be a blindbuy, and Crash will be a quasi-upgrade-quasi-double-dip from the single disc I already have.

Lucky. My guess is they confused The Garbage Pail Kids: The Movie for the series, and priced it accordingly. Wish this kind of pricing snafu would happen at my Wal-Mart.

I got it (Walk the Line 2-disc SE) at Wal-Mart last night on sale for $24.99.

"Brokeback Mountain" (Widescreen) - $16.99
"The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe": Special Two-Disc Collector's Edition - $24.99

:D

Love is in the air! I finally have ol' "Mountain" in my little hands. Thank the lord!

While I do not at all hide my unequivocal love for "Brokeback Mountain", when I watched "Crash", I was very excited that I would see a Best Picture nominee. My "Mountain"-passion did not in any way hinder the viewing experience.

However, when that film received the award for Best Picture, I flipped, and after watching "Crash" for the 3rd time after March 5th, the movie changed completely. I suddenly found it's many flaws, but, even the first time wasn't exactly sweet.

I however, do not appreciate my opinions being looked down apon by the all high and mighty "elder" that is dvdjunkie.

If you hadn't made such a big deal about him buying Crash over BBM, he probably wouldn't have made his comments either.

 Back at 'cha.

My 'big deal' was supposed to be taken as a joke. Hence the "Spongebob Squarepants" reference when I said "I'm spiraling!..."
