Well, I didn't actually make it to the shops until today, but it was at the top of my list.Incrediholics Anonymous wrote:If you do not all rush out to the stores to buy this on Tuesday, your lives will be incomplete.
So I got myself:
The Flaming Lips - At War with The Mystics

and I'd have to agree with Incrediholics Anonymous about this CD. Buy it, buy it, buy it.
I didn't get Prince (yet), but I did pick up a local release by The Grates. Their debut album in fact.
The Grates - Gravity Won't Get You High

Currently transferring them to my newly acquired MP3 player

I'm thinking of re-buying that and With Teeth just to hear them remixed in 5.1.Jungleprince_55 wrote:I just got Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral: Deluxe Edition Hybrid SACD for 10 Bucks at Best Buy With Reward Zone.
I just got My Latest Novel - Wolves.

The name of the band makes them sound like an 'emo/punk' band, but they are actually a Glaswegian folk/post-rock band. Really great. Some have compared them to the Arcade Fire...

Tool - 10,000 Days

Bought this more out of habit than anything else. I have all their other records. Sounds pretty much like all of the others, with no real departure. Maynard James Keenan remains, as always, a saving grace.

I bought Morrissey's "Ringleader of the Tormentors" the day it came out (4/4/06) and I've been listening to it nonstop. Brilliant.
