BURBANK, Calif., March 17, 2006 – Meet Leroy, aka ‘experiment 627!’ The lovable characters from
Disney’s ‘Lilo & Stitch’ are back, including Lilo, Stitch, Jumba, Pleakley, along with Stitch’s outrageous
cousin and 625 fellow experiments in the all-new movie Leroy & Stitch, available on DVD June 27. It’s

In this all-new movie, Lilo, Stitch, Jumba and Pleakley have each gone their separate ways. Jumba’s
back in the lab, Pleakley teaches college, Lilo’s in Hawaii and Stitch commands a Big Red Battleship.
But when Dr. Hämsterviel breaks out of prison, he creates the ill-mannered Leroy, the evil twin of Stitch.
One Leroy is disastrous enough, but Hämsterviel plans to clone Leroy into an entire army. It’s up to Lilo,
Stitch, Jumba and Pleakley to band together again, and with help from all 625 of Stitch’s experiment
cousins, stop Dr. Hämsterviel’s plans. When the chips are down, our friends discover that the one place
where they all truly belong is together.

best to disrupt the most daring pilot.

Hopefully it is the last episode of the series (Episode 65) or one of the four crossover eps with either Recess, American Dragon-Jake Long, Kim Possible or The Proud Family.

Well, it is no secret that I am a little bit of a fan of the blue guy. (I bought TWO Stitch plush toys in Disneyland - one from the Tower of Terror of course :P).

I will buy any and every DVD with the Stitch name attached to it, and this looks like a lot of fun. The inclusion of the "Never-Before-Seen-Episode From The ‘Lilo & Stitch’ TV Series" is just gravy.

Speaking of the series, I hope this ultimately leads to the release of the entire series on DVD. It was of a very high calibre in my humble opinion, and deserves a proper DVD release. Lots of fun too.

That cover is ace! Wish the person who made it did the cover for L&S 2! This movie sounds like a lot of fun! I like the characters and experiments. Though I haven't watched enough of the episodes to see most of the experiments in action since I fell out of watching the show sometime after it was first aired back in 2003. It got to be a bother catching the show when it was on. Hope the series' DVD release isn't too far away! :P Hamsterviel is really funny with that high voice he's got! Everyone is always calling him "Hamsterwheel" and he yells at them. Well change your name!

I could be mistaken, but wasn't there an episode with an experiment 627 already??? I could have sworn there was. Anyways, I don't know if anybody cares, but we named my dog Stitch when we got him a year and a half ago. He is a white standard poodle (the big kind). Last August, we bought another standard poodle, this time a black one. The plan was to get a girl and name her Lilo, but we didn't fall for the girl pup and ended up taking home another male. I had just seen the teaser for Leroy & Stitch and proposed the name to my mom who loved it. So my dog's are named Stitch and Leroy. lol.

Yeah, there was an episode with 627, named *gasp* "627".

Based on what I've seen in the previews, I would say the character of Leroy is remarkably similar to 627 already. Same color, same laugh, same general design...
"We'll tar and feather him"
"He's already got feathers"
"Then we'll pluck him, tar and RE-feather him!"

"Oooh, when I catch that parrot I'll roast him over a slow fire"
"Mmmm, roast parrot, my favorite!"

"You're just supposed to arrest him!"

So do u think its going to be one & the same experiment 627?

Stitch defeated him before-unless Jumbaa/Hamsterviel tweaked him to be less vulnerable w/ laughter.

Well, Jess Winfield said that Leroy wasn't 627, several months ago. But I suppose Hamsterviel could have gotten a hold of the dehydrated pod and reactivated him.

Maybe Leroy is Experiment 628. I do remember an episode where Jumba was putting a way an Experiment Pod with the numbers 628, but why would he make 628 the same look as 627? Anyway, I will be buying this DVD. It sounds great!

Leroy is not experiment #627. In fact, Jumba makes mention of this in the movie, but the folks at home video didn't pay attention. Jess and I are no longer with the Disney company, but Bobs (Gannaway) is. Even though he'd brought up the fact that this was a mistake, they didn't listen. It seems a shame that the ones this will appeal to most will know that this is an error.
I hope that home video's marketing gimmick mistake won't take away from your enjoyment of this movie. After 11 years with Disney TV Animation, I think that this movie is closest to what we all hoped this film would be, more so than any other project I've worked on. One thing that is true about the press release, all the experiments are in this movie. It's gonna be good. Thanks for supporting the franchise.

Well I'm glad that was set straight. Thanks for the inside info, Tony!

I love "Lilo & Stitch" and all of it's characters.

I hope they release a complete DVD set of the series sometime in the future, like how "Chip & Dale", "Duck Tales", "Talespins", and "Darkwing Duck" are getting released.
