wave 1 treasure dvds?

Post by fairuza »

Where can I buy these and wave 2's also (besides ebay)? I don't see the wave 1 multi-pack on DMC. Is it still there?

Hi, fairuza, welcome to the forum!

It is indeed still there, under Multipacks. But you'll have to be a member first to see it. If you sign up through the link on the front page, you can then purchase the set to count towards your commitment.

Hope this helps.

Alright thanks for the help guys! :) I've been reading here on and off for a while, but made an account finally.

Basil, my name is from Fairuza Balk, the actress, because I used to be a big fan of hers, and I like the name too.

Welcome, fairuza.

As others have said, you need to join the Disney Movie Club in order to order the Tins. But you will find no better deal out there:
All 4 for $126

The other good thing about this is that the multi-pack does count as FOUR titles towards your 12-month fulfillment.

do you guys think they will add a wave 2 set ever? because i found the behind the scenes one but can't find the mickey or goofy dvds anywhere (except ebay of course).

i went to some stores in downtown disney and california adventure to see if they had any and they didn't. they had lots of disneyland usa and behind the scenes tins left though.

also, if anyone wants the wave 3 set (all 4) for $89 you can pre-order it here: http://www.digitaleyes.net/Details.cfm?info=DVD001056

i think that's a good price.

I absolutely expect them to have the Wave 2 tins available as a multi-pack option...the question is when. it may not happen for at least another year or so.

indianajdp, you are correct. i called disney and they said that the wave 2 tins will eventually be sold through the dmc, but they aren't sure when and are waiting for some to come in.

that's good news to me though because now i can stop searching and worrying about it.

i bet when disney puts a title on moratorium they have retailers send the titles back and then they sell them themselves. :) good for us.

Good idea to call and check with them, and even though I assumed they'd be available it's still nice to hear a confirmation from someone there. Great news for all of you that missed the Wave 2 Tins.

Actually, I was told they'll have them this December, when wave 3 is scheduled to come out (at least for now). I asked a rep over the phone when I was signing up for my first account...

She knew exactly what I was talking about and said they'll be there in December...

any update on if/when the movie club will have wave 2 sets? they told me december or january but i don't think it's going to happen now.

i emailed them last week and have not received a reply. i can't open my wave 1 set until i know if i can get the tins for wave 2. else i'll have to buy the costco set and sell these unopened tins.

update: received an email saying they have no information when they'll be available. :(

wave 1 treasure dvds?

Post by jimmyraypayne »

I just wanted to let you know I just purchased Wave 2 Treasurers from the DMC. They are listed under multi-pack and titled Walt Disney Treasures 3-Pack. The cost is $99.00 plus $5.95 for shipping & processing. I hope this helps.
