What are your favorite non-Disney movies?

Post by Lady »

What are your favorite non-Disney movies? They can still be animated but just not Disney. Try to pick just a few so we don't get a list of your complete DVD collection.

Mine, in random order are:

- Ivanhoe (made for TV period movie)
- Sleepy Hollow
- Batman Returns
- The Fifth Element

Clearly, I am a big Tim Burton fan. I hope he takes over the Batman franchise again.

(animated): Anastasia...

I actually thought it was from Disney until on close inspection it was a Fox movie...

I had also heard that Disney actually rejected the idea for this movie? Anyone wish to confirm or comment?

(otherwise): I'm one of those people who just can't pick a favourite, so i'm not even going to try :P

I love all the Back to The Future movies as well. I like all the trilogy movies though. But on the top of my lists are Wizard of Oz and The Rock. How can you Burton fans not even give a nod to Beetlejuice??? It's my favorite Burton movie, just a tiny bit above his two Batmans...

The Neverending Story ....... is one of my favourites.

A true classic........it could really use a special edition DVD in my opinion. The copy I have is bare bones......but the picture qualityis great!
Love watching my "babies" on my wide-screen :)
