I'm thinking of getting a disney visa card, if you have one can you tell me about the rewards? They are pretty vague on the website, they just say you can redeem it for disney merchandise, but how many points does it take to get something? And do you just get a gift card at a certain point level?
Also, if I decide to sign up, is there a way to get ultimate disney some sort of credit? Thanks!

I have the Disney credit card so I can tell you how it works. It isn't the greatest deal in the world but it is okay. Anyway, the rewards work like this. You get 1 point for every $100 you spend. Each point corresponds with $1. Therefore, you get 1% cash back for Disney purchases. You have to accumulate at least 10 reward point and then you can transfer the point onto your Disney rewards card which is separate from the credit card itself and it functions like a debit card. So where can you use your card? You can use it at the Disney store. I used to get free DVDs this way but now I live a long way from a Disney store so I don't do that anymore. You can also use the card like a debit card at any of the Disney parks. There are a few other places you can use the card that you can probably learn about from the website. I know you can use the card at Disneyshopping.com but that website is a rip off. You can't use the card to buy Disney things at places like Wal-Mart or Amazon.com. It is only for places that are directly affiliated with Disney.
You have to spend a lot of money to get a decent size reward but when you first join you can get several free points. I think I got 25 points (I think these days you can get 50) and I used it to pay for most of a lunch for me and my wife at Cinderella's castle at Disney World.
The biggest thing with the credit card is you have to make sure you don't end up paying interest. If you pay any interest you are not winning by getting points on your card. I hope that makes sense because it is too early in the morning for me to explain that more clearly.

Well it kind of sucks to hear that the card cant really be used for other things. But are you sure that it can only be use toward Disney things becasue just tonight I swiped through for a customer. And I work @ Hallmark no affiliation of any sort with Disney. Or do you mean the only way you can get Disney points when you use it is by going to those Disney places?

I am sorry, apparently I wasn't clear. When you get the Visa Disney card you can use it anywhere Visa is accepted. You earn points from anywhere you use the Visa.
I was saying you can only redeem the points on those Disney things. Chase sends you a separate card (not a credit card) that has the points on it. When you use your points on something Disney you use that separate card like a debit card.
The confusion came in because I was talking about two different (but related) cards and I wasn't clear about when I switched which card I was talking about.
