Cow Belles or Hannah Montana...or both?

Post by numba1lostboy »

This Friday, DC's newest original movie, Cow Belles and DC's newest original series, Hannah Montana will be premiering. I was wondering which one people will be checking out...

I will most likely watch both of them. The movie looks good and Aly and AJ just glow onscreen. The new sitcom also looks promising, as DC sitcoms go.

I'll probably end up watching a little bit of Cow Belles, but that's mostly due to my itty-bitty crush on Alyson Michalka. I doubt I'll enjoy the actual movie, though.

And I'll avoid Hannah Montana, because quite frankly, the show looks like demon spawn. :)

I got a glimpse of the first episode and yes...it does. Pray for this show's early cancellation.

Yes indeed. Who in the world are Devo 2.0? I saw them on the WD Records site and I've never heard of them. I tried to listen to their music and it was unbearable. Even more so than Jump5...and I like Jump5 alright.

oh holy god....

Why would they recreate a band that was only mediocre in the first place?

And to stay on topic, neither. The Michalka's (or however it's spelled) should be avoided like Small Pox. And whoever that Montana chick is, she makes my ears bleed.

I caught most of the "Hannah Montana" premiere... not too bad, but it's gonna have to grow on me.

Is it just me or does the major plot of most DCOS's kinda go along the lines of this...

"Hi my name is ________ and i have a famous mom/dad. Sure they get all the hype, but i'm to proove myself to the world. I'm goign to show everybody else that i can be a famous whatever too! So this show is about me singing and dancing or whatever else i do so that i can be famous!"

or....

"Hi my name is _________ and i don't really have anything to do with music but i'm gonna sing anyway and make you all listen to me, and bc i'll get played over and over and over again you'll be foreced to like me!"

That's just the trend i've been seeing lately, and the more you think about it the more irritating it gets. But it does pose this little question. Do you think that So Weird got canceled because the girl in it couldn't sing? :P

I actually watched both on thier preimear night with my mom.And cow Bells I thought was cute. I mean I see the trend of little dumb rich girls, but I liked the message it convayed of there being other things in life than partying, clothes, ect. for all those people who live in a bubble. And I liked how it sorta defended people of that nature too. Its not fair to cut them to quick so fast. Just because they are privllage may not mean they dont care. But who knows it may just be I try to find the good in everything.

As for HM I think the show is okay her best friend Lilly gets on my nerves does she have to talk so loud??? But who knows the show has potential of gorwing on me.
