Is there going to be a Little Mermaid Gift Set?

Post by BATBfan1 »

Is there going to be one? Most likely right?

To be honest, I think I am going to pass on this one.
I mean I have Aladdin and Cinderella's but it's just a waste.
I only looked at them once and put them away and I have no more room for anything anymore lol. Are you guys going to get it or pass on it?
:)

Pass.

I never bothered getting the giftsets for The Lion King, Aladdin, or Cinderella, and I'm sure if I ever did get it, I'd do the same (look at it once, then continue to see it gather dust on my shelf).

The pattern - if there has been any - for the last few is to miss one, release one. Bambi didn't have one; Cinderella did; LATT didn't. If that pattern hold, and there is no indication that it will, then LM will probably have one. It is certainly deserving of one. They all are really.

Although the last couple of gift sets haven't been all that special, I'm a sucker for a fancy box, so I'll put my hand up for one. :)

Pass

I don't have any of the other giftsets and if I did they would probably sit and gather dust. I'll just pickup the regular release.

I have picked up the others, and plan to continue with any future sets that are released.

I'll buy the gift set + finnish version of the PE. I've done the same with every gift set released.
Can't wait!

I think that The Little Mermaid will have a giftset, but I would have preferred that Lady and the Tramp got one.

Yes, this will be the first gift set that I'm buying.
But will get both Gift Set and the solo DVD.
Maybe I'll buy The Lion King, Aladdin and Cinderella gift sets too on ebay or Best Buy. :D

Just wondering why people get both the solo and the gift sets?

The gift set contains the EXACT same version with a few extra gubbins...

For me it's because of the different region settings. I need one from Region 2, and one Collector Set, which is obviously R1.

i would get this one, but i wont for the same reason i didn't get the cinderella box set. That's because if i started getting them now it would drive me completely mad not having the aladdin and lion king sets. So i'm just going to stick with the regular release. I really wish i did have all the box sets though, they look so pretty! :P

I'll buy this collectors definitely because this is one of my favorite movies and also because I love these box sets, besides I have the collectors for TLK, Aladdin and Cinderella so I want to complete my collection :P

Oh I do that too. I get a single set from Region 4, and the Gift from the US. However, I have noticed that a few people buy two lots of the US version (the PE and the Gift). Always thought that was odd.

I haven't wanted to get any of the previous sets, but I might get it if they produce one for The Little Mermaid.

Hmm... is this "pass" trend in replies a new thing? I'm certainly noticing it more often... O_o Interesting, too - since it seems the rabid desire to accumulate anything and everything Disney or disc-y seems to be in decline. A general trend of collective depression and apathy occuring in the world? Or is it simply high time for Blu-ray? ;)

Anyhoo, if there is a TLM gift set, I'll most likely get it, as I've bought the other three so far. I only wish that Disney was more consistent with them in their PE line.
