Kurt Angle is no longer on RAW. Hes the World Champion on Smackdown now.
Anyway I usually watch RAW, and sometimes Smackdown. To me Smackdown feels like the 2nd rate show. Not because of the wrestlers either. There are several people on the Smackdown roster that are great performers, its just the show. Maybe its because Smackdown is taped, and RAW is live I don't know. Well maybe it is some of the wrestlers... seriously can someone explain the Boogeyman for me? Horrible ideal.
My friend however hardly watches RAW, but always Smackdown. He likes the Smackdown roster better than the RAW one.
Caught the first match on Saturday Nights Main Event tonight. Man Cena is getting huge boos. I'm not a fan of Cena, but isn't he supposed to be the face? Hes losing the belt at Wrestlemania. He shouldn't have gotten it back from Edge so quick either. Noone expected Edge to win the belt that night. WWE should have done more with it, instead of the horrible angles on RAW they did with Edge and Lita, and then dropping it back to Cena. I'm sure Triple H will hold on to it for awhile. Not sure who will eventually beat him. Masters maybe? WWE seems to be pushing him as a future main eventer like they did with Orton and Batista.
I also miss the Monday Night Wars. Nitro vs. RAW... Great entertainment. I was hoping TNA would do the same like WCW did, but its not. They have some great wrestlers, but horrible time slot. Feels a lot like WCW before its fall though.

So they now have a separate set of wrestlers for RAW and Smackdown? When I was still watching wrestling, Smackdown was still new, and they didn't really distinguish between who went on which show.

Wrestling is just a soap opera for men..........it is all rehearsed and planned months ahead. I gave up on Wrestling for entertainment a long time ago.
I don't understand what the big thing is with it anymore. It is all so phoney and the acting is way overrated. All these steroid-filled athletes who will pay the price down the road for what they do to themselves today. Look at Ric Flair, he is older than dirt, and he looks terrible.
When I was a kid wrestlers weren't allowed to wrestle in anything but trunks, and they couldn't wear any jewelry, and couldn't have long hair, and there were no such thing as 'manager' allowed around the ring. There were good guys and bad guys, and it was really good clean fun. Wrestlers like Baron Michelle Leone, Gorgeous George, Eric Von Hoeffer, and the Studebaker Brothers, and so many, many more.
Today's wrestling is no more than glorifed soap opera stories and you always know who is going to win. There is rarely any surprises. When ever wrestling is in town, I go down to the local Gold's Gym and watch them rehearse and practice their moves.
Don't waste my time with wrestling anymore. I work to hard for my money to waste it on this stuff. I can buy lots of DVD's for the $50 bucks it costs to watch a PPV event of phoney wrestling.
