Two Disney World TV Specials from Local TV
Aaron, I found two rare TV speicals about Disney World. One was "Destination: Walt Disney World" hosted by Storm Field of the Channel 9 news and "The Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration" hosted by Storm field again. These two rare Disney World specials I taped off of WWOR-TV (channel 9) since 1999. WWOR-TV's weatherman Storm Field discuss the guided tour on Disney World including the first anniversary of Disney's "Animal Kingdom" attraction, including a few rides that were included were Test Track, Tower of Terror (was originally "The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror"), Aerosmith's Rockin' Roller Coaster, "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" ride that has never opened yet, the Disney Cruise lines, the Disney/MGM Studios, the Magic Kingdom, including the return of the "Main Street Electrical Parade" and of course the behind the scenes of the "Animal Kingdom" including the history of how it got started and a bunch of other stuff. It is a rare find from 1999, The "Animal Kingdom" segment was long before "Expedition Everest" took place 6 years later. There was also another TV special from WWOR-TV called the "Disney World Millennium Celebration" in which Storm Field was once again talking about what was going on in Disney World, including the Millennium parade, the history of the Disney Cruise line, the Disney World Wedding and a bunch of other stuff including "Illuminations 2000". Those two specials are rare but it was originally aired on my local TV station WWOR-TV (channel 9) in the New York area when it was formerly UPN (now soon-to-be My Network TV). Those are 2 awesome finds if you are a fan of Disney World. Any thoughts?
