the little mermaid on dvd??

Post by jesus_brer »

i was just wondering if anyone know about the little mermaid come to dvd. i heard that it was coming in 2008 {wow i'll be done with high school by that time} which is way to far, and i didn't even get a chance to get the one that came out in 2001 for a short time{but it didn't have any bonus features} i guess i have to wait for some time. but for the bonu features i hope it was the pilot flim for the little mermaid's island which was going to be on the disney channel in 1990, with a live actress playing ariel and puppets for her friends [which was from jim jenson's shop] i hope i hope............

You can still buy the limited release on places like Ebay. I bought a new-sealed copy on Half.com the other day for $20. It should be here by next week.

It will probably be about 2 1/2 years before it resurfaces on DVD, in the fall of 2005, so if you really want it, heed Satoshi's advice.

I hope for your sake it's a real copy. So much crap flying around ebay and half.com these days. Twenty bucks sounds pretty cheap. Let us know what you end up with. Good Luck.

Thanks. I made sure to find a seller that claims it as a Region 1 DVD with Chapter Insert and one that has good feedback.

R1/R4 Little Mermaid on Ebay

Post by Bob »

I have purchased many DVDs from rsvp2000 on ebay. He sells from Argentina. He has been my source for Disney DVDs that do not have the Spanish language track in the US. They are encoded for R1 & R4 and were new, factory sealed DVDs. Shipping around $10 plus the bidpay fee. It has been worth it for me and service has been impeccable.
