Yea I remember Miami, all your Rich RICH Coral Gables people strutting around like they owned the play
I was driving a Saturn and I still felt like the poorest person within about 300 miles...Everyone had a new Lexus or Mercades.

I don't know... cure the common cold. Haven't really thought that far ahead yet. Maybe find a way to stop West Nile or Chronic Wasting disease for our cud chewing friends.bambifan56 wrote:Bout the best we used was looking at bacteria with an oil immersion lense..what are you planing to do with that Microbio degree?

I'm not quite sure how this all fits in with your American education terminology, but I'll try.
I've got a "cand. philol.", which is slightly more than a "master" degree, in German "language for special (business) purposes".
"Minors" (if I understand more or less what this means) include "Nordic" (Norwegian, Swedish and Danish language and literature) and even some Russian.
I guess I've spent way too much time at college and universities and probably am what one poster referred to as a "super-qualified bum". Looking for a job at the moment...

I received a B.S. in Atmospheric Science (or meteorology, depending on who you ask...
) from Cornell a couple of years ago. I'm trying to build a career in operational meteorology (i.e., not research), as I have experience in weather forecasting and air pollution prediction, but for now I'm biding my time with office work until I find an opening in something weather-related.
However, don't look for me on TV any time soon...I'm staying as far away from those cameras as possible

Was a chemistry major and graduated in 2004 w/ my bachelors, then went on to get my masters in chemistry and finished that up in February of this year. Just started my new job as a polymer chemist last week and I'm very happy with it!
