Honey I Shrunk The Kids.

Post by STASHONE »

Will this title ever be re-issued in o.a.r. as a special edition or something with some bonus features? It seems to be one of Disney's more prominent and highly esteemed live-action films of the past 30 years, definitely among my generation (1980's), and made a pretty significant impact upon it's theatrical release. Not to mention that it's been adapted into a 3-d movie ride and playground at MGM in Orlando and influenced two lousy box office sequels. I personally haven't seen this movie in approx. 5 or 6 years and it was one of the first films apart from Roger Rabbit that I actually remember seeing in the theatre as a kid but I'd love to see this re-released properly in WS format with a couple of supplemental features, a commentary track and a making of documentary of sorts. Does anyone know if it's in Disney's future release plans? This June will mark the 15 year anniversary of the movie...

I foresee a proper release as a Vault Disney Special Edition in 2019 on whatever home video format is in there.

There's just so many supplements they could put on this, it's just a joke it's not out already.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
