No one posted the rebate available on LATT. (oh and I got mine at BB but didn't bother to price match, oh well. And I LOVE my little tramp plush... but he's def not worth $10!)

Anyway- you can get a $5 rebate for LATT if you buy two pet food products. Here's the link to the form:

http://thinktreats.com/pages/ladytrampoffer/

It says "Buy any two (2) participating Del Monte® pet products: 4 lb. bag or larger Kibbles 'n Bits® dry dog food, 3.5 lb. bag or larger of 9Lives® dry cat food, 22.5 oz. or larger Meaty Bone® dog biscuits, any size Meaty Bone® Chew-lotta® dog snacks, any size Denta-Delicious™ dog snacks, NawSomes!® dog snacks, 5.6 oz. or larger Pup-Peroni® dog snacks, 12 oz. or larger Snausages® dog snacks and 7.5 oz. or larger Jerky Treats® dog snacks between dates of 2/01/06 and 7/30/06."

So if you have pets (or know someone who does) hold on to your receipt!!

I just came from Walmart and I'm surprised at how thte movie is being displayed.... by this I mean it isn't. Just placed among all the regular DVDs..... And what are they showing on the TVs? Stuart Little 3....
Hehe, EGJ, remember when you first came here and started a post about how pissed off you were that when Aladdin came out on DVD, Wal-Mart was showing the new CGI CareBears movie on the TV instead of Aladdin?

Anyways, our Wal-Mart doesn't have a big display up front, but we've got a large cardboard display in electronics, several shelves full of LATT on regular shelves, and a very large cart just smack dab in the center with, you guessed it, Lady and the Tramp.

I got the plush toy from Best Buy. Tramp is 7 inches long and about five inches tall including his ears.

The cashier almost overchaged me. The DVD is on sale for $17. The cashier charged me $20 plush $9 for the Plush toy. Make sure the cashier doesn't charge you for a $20 DVD and a $9 plush toy. The cashier should only ask for $17, not $28. I got my $11 back. I guess the cashier is new. He had a shirt with a geek squad logo on it.

The store I went to had a huge plush toy of Lady. It must've been about six feet long and four feet high. The Tramp plushes were underneath Lady.

I got a slipcover that does not open like a book. The back has a hole to show the UPC code. There is also a sticker with the UPC code on the wrapper.

The back of the slipcover also shows a screenshot before restoration and after restoration.

The top front of the case and slipcover say Platinum Edition. I see 50th Anniversary Edition under the title "Lady and The Tramp."

The back of the case has some new icons I haven't seen: 5HD or SHD and a red circle between the Region 1 and DVD Video logo. I can't figure out what the logos mean.

I think Toys R Us is selling the small plushies for $14. I'll find out next week.

My store had the HUGE lady plush too, and my DVD was as described.

The red circle logo means "don't reproduce". If you look at it closely, you can see that it's a disc with a little arrow pointing to another disk, and has the red circle w/ line through it meaning "don't do this".

Not sure about the logo on the far left- I'm guessing it has to do with the sound? Didn't Disney come up with their own version of THX certified?

Anyone else disappointed in the "deals" inside the Disney Insider? The "special savings inside" was for a jar of spaghetti sauce (only after buying THREE) and 35 cents off paper towels. SWEET.

That looked like a good deal until I read that you have to chop up your DVD cover to mail in the UPC. I hate that. You'd think the receipt would be proof enough that you bought it.

I was too late to get the BB plush... :( :x

Oh well, I got it for $11.99 after the Narnia pre-order coupon...
Edit: Darn it, I forgot about the CC price match...

I wasn't able to get the disc until today, due to lack of funds...

With the Narnia preorder: do you get $5 off LATT or just $5 off anything you buy that day (or get a coupon to use later on for something Disney)?

And are you preordering for a specific price or do you end up paying whatever they advertise once the release date comes around? (or price matching)

^ Actually, the $5 basically comes off of Narnia. They advertise it so that it sounds like you get your savings now instead of later, but that's really what it comes down to. You buy a Disney DVD today, and you'll have $5 of whatever price Best Buy charges for it (yeah- kind of shady that they didn't advertise what price that will be) already paid for.

That's basically correct. You are still paying $5.00 for the pre-order of Narnia. Granted, they will give you $5.00 off the purchase of a $14.99 or more Disney DVD, so it's a good deal. On top of that, regardless of what they sell Narnia for, you can still price match, even if you have pre-ordered.

Good point! I doubt that the 2-disc will be heavily discounted in any B&M retailers, though, but you never know.
