Just discovered this site, so I thought it was worth mentioning here:
http://www.jtcent.com/disneysea/american/amwtot.html
It takes us through from concept to construction photos of the Tokyo Disney ToT, which is really coming along (use the drop down box to see the February 7 photos - very detailed facade!) Reminds me of the Parisian Phantom Manor...
Speaking of Paris, their ToT is also underway:

They updated on February 12.

The one at Tokyo Disney Sea is most interesting. I'm curious how they're planning to twist the storyline around to involve the large Queen Mary boat.
The one at Parc Walt Disney Studios is supposedly a carbon copy of the one at Disney's California Adventure.

For all of you in, near or heading to Tokyo Disneyland, Tower of Terror at Tokyo DisneySea will open on September 4th.
That's only 186 days away.

It's good news that a Tower of Terror is coming to Disneyland Paris, even if it is a carbon copy. Now all we need is a Splash Mountain (if you're reading Disney, build a Splash Mountain!).
Another question I have, though, is if there's an episode of The Twilight Zone that the Tower of Terror is based on...

No, they merely associated the ride with The Twilight Zone, there's no actual episode of The Twilight Zone that has to do with a cursed elevator.Wonderlicious wrote:Another question I have, though, is if there's an episode of The Twilight Zone that the Tower of Terror is based on...
