Hey there to everyone.
I'm a little confused at the moment as to how Benuvista has being advertising their upcoming DVD releases in Australia in that they aren't at all. I couldn't get an answer to Cinderella's release date here until like the day before it came out and now its the same story with Bambi 2 and Lady and the Tramp. I presumed we might get Lady and the Tramp a day after America does, as has being the norm for most of the platium releases, meaning we'd get it on March 1st. However I have just learned that in the UK it will be coming out on the 13th of Febuary, two weeks earlier. I wondered if anyone could tell me or estimate at least the release date of this Disney classic as it is one of my favourite ones and I need to know when I should start saving up for my copy so I can get it on the first day it is out.
Thanks for your help.

Sorry to hear about Pocahantas the 2-disc special edition... that's really wrong that they're limiting where the dvds come out. But I still don't have my answer and the dvd for Lady and the Tramp comes out in America in 4-days. I'm deeply upset with the Disney company that they don't think Australia is important enough to spend the money to advertise here the way they do in the US and the UK. Not even the offical Disney Australian internet site has any information for me... Dam Benuvista... lazy buggars...

As I said in the Australian release dates thread, it won't be released this week, but there are a few of us (Kirben, Loomis and sometimes myself) usually check the BVHE retailers website for new releases and when we find out, it will be posted on the release dates thread (well and truly before it is released here.)
As already mentioned, the one disc edition has already been passed by the OFLC, but they have not yet set a release date.
We shouldn't be waiting much longer, though.

This matter is rather painful, if you think that in my country the Pocahontas 2-disc Special Edition DVD NEVER CAME!!!!!! I 'd like to know who's on charge about the delivery of the movie in other countries, and why that bast**d makes exceptions!!!!!![]()
