Technically, there is nothing "naughty" about a woman's bare breasts. However, I'm sure that the folks at Disney didn't like them in those two frames just the same.
I only see one frame here. thanks for pointing out the issue because I couldnt' find it until someone told me.
Here is the question though: For those that do have the Rescuers R1 DVD who got it on-line these past two weeks, are these naughty frames in the movie????
if they are, 29.00 is worth going to get it in the store. It will probably be worth more later.
(that didn't come out right, but you catch my drift)

That's because only one of the two frames is published on the internet AFAIK. I'm happy to have enlightened you about the original WS LaserDisc release of the film.

I highly doubt it. There is NO WAY that Disney would make that mistake a second time. As "2099net" pointed out, those two frames were edited with substitute NTSC-to-PAL-converted frames in the R2 UK release.
Right now Disney doesn't have a brain with everything they have been doing (not having Love Bug, rescuers....and not having all the movies in Widescreen...among others)...
I wouldn't be surprised if Disney did make the mistake again....they have no brain, no thought process....

Still haven't seen Rescuers or Love Bug in any local B&M stores but my copies of both arrived from Showwow.com (along with Aristocats-reissue). $42.88 for the 3, great deal. Their prices have now gone up. I got the bilingual Canadian cover on the Rescuers (& it doesn't include a chapter card. I don't think it's missing as it isn't listed on the back).

Some people have reported finding both of them in Wal-Mart for just $14.44. But, as always with Wal-Mart, your mileage (availability, and price) may vary.
I ordered mine from DVDsoon.com , and I just received notice that it shipped 2 days ago for a total of 19.17. It is from Canada, so hopefully it wont take too long. ANd I have ordered from them before and it went well, so I have no worries.
Ill let you know when I get it if it has that scene.

THanks Luke. I saw the earlier post thread where someone saw open slots at Wal-mart. I'll wait a few days and if I don't find them, I'm going through DMC.
are you through with fulfilling your obligation? hopefully you will get a DMC pin.

It was 25.96 CAD and so when it was converted by my bank, I was only charged 19.17. Works for me
I have only seen "The Rescuers" DVD on my local Coconuts store. For those who don't know. The two "naughty" frames are no longer in the film (checked it myself). They haven't been there since 1999, after the big recall.
In Wisconsin, I Have been to several Wal-Mart stores. All of them carry The Love Bug, The Rescuers, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, older titles like the Moon Spinners and Monkey's Go Home, as well as titles I thought were discontinued like the remake of The Parent Trap and Inspector Gadget. These Wal Mart stores also have them all on a rack with only Disney Titles. I also found a couple years ago that Wal-Mart was the only store that carried the Disney Channel Videos. Does Disney Have A special deal with Wal-Mart?
I too have found numerous disney DVDs at Wal-mart here in Illinois... in fact all of the ones I went to had them in stock... not only was there Rescuers and the Love Bug on DVD for $14.44 but they also had The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again, Gus, The Parent Trap (Hayley Mills Collection), and Savage Sam which I guess is a sequel to Old Yeller (I did not know this). There were other movies too numerous to list, but they had a banner on the top such as The Don Knott's Collection, The Hayley Mills Collection and The Kurt Russell Collection... hmmm... how weird is that.
