After 2 days of Pink Panther madness, I bought something unrelated. However, as much as I love 80's generation I bought:

Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer - $16.99

From Blockbuster Video Store, of course.

I went in my "local" newsagent today (which isn't actually local, at all, but I visit it most work days) and was given 6 Carry On films free! Including the excellent Carry On Screaming which as everyone knows, is the king of the Carry Ons.

They were given out with papers last week, but the lovely ladies behind the counter bundled a set up in elastic bands just for me.

So remember, always be cheerful and polite when purchasing your daily supply of magazines, drinks and Jelly Belly jelly beans. It pays off in the end.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I was going to pick that up last night at JB Hi-Fi, but $35 for a 74 minute film with a couple of games is a little steep! Will wait for bargains galore (or see how much K-Mart is charging).

Anyhoo, I received a WHOLE lotta review discs yesterday for free, so I will be occupied with those. They were:

Quantum Leap: Seasons 2 and 3
Sliders: Season 3
Quick Change
(It is Teh Murray!)
Little Fish (Aussie film with Cate Blanchett)
Blackpool (UK series with Teh Tennant!)
A Bear Named Winnie (about the real-life bear that Pooh was named after)
My Darling Clementine: 2-Disc
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005): 2-Disc

They also sent me Doctor Who: City of Death, but I only got the bonus feautures disc for some reason. I don't mind buying that one anyway...

Today I was given A Visa Gift Card as a ..... GIFT !!!

So after getting some much needed new shoes, I got:

- The Locket: Hallmark Hall of Fame - Gold Crown Collectors Edition #46-

I don't know if any of you watch these when CBS has them on TV 3 or 4 times a year but, generally they are very, very good Films. I'm trying to get older ones that are on DVD and so far in 9 months I've gotten 5 (for some reason, Disney and other DVDs come first.)

I'll help you out on that score:

Both K-Mart and Target are selling TENG 2: Kronk's New Groove currently for around $27.95 (Much better than $35 that JB were asking) :D

I got my copy today (couldn't get it yesterday) at Target Parramatta.

Ah better, but still not great for a virtually featureless 74 minute DTV.

I'm really looking forward to it, but I just can't go around paying near full-price these days.

Thanks, blaing.
