Well, I've been shopping on Amazon.com for obscure disney CDs (Tron soundtrack, Flight of the Navigator soundtrack, Night Crossing soundtrack, Great Mouse Detective soundtrack, etc.) and found one that was worth mentioning here. I had heard of "Rhythm of the Pride Lands" before, but never paid it much attention. It is a 'Music Inspired by the Original Lion King' album which has a ton of more Lebo M stuff all of which is inspired by the score from the original Lion King. Included on the CD is the song "One by One". It is not the same recording as used in the newly released animated short of the same title, but it is the same choir that sings it and mostly the same arrangement. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, "One by One" was a new animated short released on The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride 2-disc special edition. This cool song can now also be found on "Rhythm Of The Pride Lands" CD!
Also, on the CD: the original voice recording of Warthog Rhapsody!! Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella (Timon and Pumbaa accordingly) sing a song that was replaced by Hakuna Matata. This deleted sequence can be found on the platinum edition release of The Lion King, but is no where to be found on any of the Lion King CD releases...until now!
This CD is out-of-print but can largely be found for under $5 online used. A recommended addition for anyone who enjoys obscurity in their Disney CD collection.
Now I'm waiting for my Beauty and the Beast: Enchanted Christmas CD to arrive. Hopefully it has the menu music from the DVD (there is a track called a 'suite' on the CD.....I just love those suites on the Disney albums

.....Bambi II anyone?)
