Greatest score in a film..
You all know what i'm going to say
...hehe..Bambi is by far to me the most beatiful score in any film i've ever seen. The ending scene with the choir singing "Love is A song" as Bambi stands on the hill brings a tear to me every time. The score is also so emotionally powerful, I really can't think of any music that feels the same to me . (Cast Away is a close 2nd). As far as Disney goes though, whats your fav. score, Hope there are a few more Bambi's on here

I agree, Bambi is a great score. I've always like the BATB music though, the background music is beautiful at times. My particular favourite is the music playing when Beast tells Belle where she can and cannot go. I think it is called 'west wing'
Tbh, I think the background music is better than the songs in BATB.

Of course Bambi followed by...
Priates of the Caribbean
Rescuers Down Under
Sword and the Stone
The Jungle Book
that's about it... I know I missed a lot but I'm tired.
Cast Away yeah it's good but Saving Private Ryan; the song they played at the end credits always brought tears to my eyes. ("Hymn to the Fallen," Written by John Williams). They sell sheet music for it but I want clarinet, not piano.
It's not that hard to play its only a 2, I can play 4's pretty easily but 5's and 6's; usally need practice on those.

Bruce Broughton did do an amazing job on Bambi II..I absolutely loved how it all kind of had the melody of "Love is a Song"..Like I said though..the choir at the end of Bambi singing "Love is a Song" is probably my favorite of all..

Being located so far away from the USA, it takes those reels of film sometimes months to get here. So when Hunchback of Notre Dame came out in America, we had to wait a few months for that slow ship to deliver the film to our shores.
Now it just so happened that in this waiting period fell my birthday. And to my surprise my best friend had ordered and received the soundtrack CD from America as my birthday present.
Now this was the very first time in my life where I had the soundtrack before even seeing the movie. And from the first few seconds of listening I was taken, it was so different to any Disney style music and yet it was really captivating. Then when that ship finally arrived hearing the soundtrack, with the images and with cinema sound, I almost was in tears, it was that moving.
So Hunchback is my personal favourite though it is followed closely by my other fave three
BATB
LK
TLM
Stitch
ps Don't you hate these abbreciated capitalised movie names. Still a handy shortcut, I guess.

The score of POCAHONTAS when she starts running to see the ship leaving, from her favourite rock, while the leafs make her hair dancing and she looks so glorious....oh, God there's not a better score than that last sequence of Pocahontas, I almost cry everytime I see that. And she becomes a painting. Oh God. Oh God.
Every time my mother comes in the room at that sequence, although she knows the story, she asks: "He left her, didn't he?". Only a few movies can cause such feeling with their score.
I also love the score for Hunchback of the Notre Dame. It's siply TOO epic and glorious.

All of the above mentioned Disney films have great scores, however the most impressive and majestic score of any Disney animated-feature is: Atlantis!!
It's truly an amazing score, among my all-time favorites. The other movies have great scores and some fantastic themes especially TLK, however Atlantis has the most consistent and original score
