Thanks DVDjunkie
Actually, the Wal-Mart bonus disc isn't "Wallace & Gromit 3 Amazing Adventures." It does have the 10 Cracking Contraptions shorts that are included on that, but not the 3 Oscar nominated/awarded half-hour shorts. As it is, 3 of the 10 Cracking Contraptions shorts are on the Were-Rabbit DVD itself.

If you dug around the Wal-Mart bargain bin, you could have found the complete first season (there were only two, and the second hasn't been released) for $5.50. I bought a copy simply to use the case to house my 2-disc set for Fantastic Four (Wal-Mart had a bonus disc with a 50-minute making of documentary). I tried watching the show, found it to be funny, but not something I'd watch more than once, so I sold the DVD at GameStop and got $7 for it. I think I'll buy some more and sell them at GameStop (sure, I'll only make $1.18 after taxes, but still...)

The bonus disc that's with W&G:COTWR at Wal-Mart is called "Gromit's Tail-Waggin' DVD" and features the following:

10 Cracking Contraptions - still non-anamorphic, as they are on the 3 Amazing Adventures DVD
Making of The Were-Rabbit - a 9 minute featurette
The Amazing World of Wallace and Gromit - a 15 minute featurette (I don't know if this is new or not, it looks pretty old, maybe it's the featurette from the OOP BBC/WB DVD)
Gromit's Favorite Scenes - Four clips of what I'm presuming is Gromit's favorite scenes
Learn to Draw Gromit - a 3 1/2 minute featurette
Gromit Cam - Easter Eggs of sorts, short 20-30 second clips from Curse of the Were-Rabbit, in "Gromit Cam"
There's more (DVD-Rom stuff and the like), but I rushed thorugh the DVD to see just the runtimes for the featurettes.

I think when dvdjunkie was referring to a 2-disc set, he most likely meant this. whereas at Wal-Mart, select copies of W&G:COTWR is bundled with the bonus disc I just described.

Anyways, today at Wal-Mart I got:

A Bug's Life: CE for a whopping...$10 (discounted from $12.14, which was discounted from $13.72, which was discounted from $19.99, they take temporary price drops seriously!)

Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (with the bonus DVD) for $14.99

I already bought Wallace & Gromit in 3 Amazing Adventures, so for now, my W&G collection is complete (though I may decide to start hunting the OOP Wallace & Gromit DVD from BBC/WB)

Well if that's what dvdjunkie is referring to -- and I'm pretty sure it's not -- then I believe a signature change is in order!

Better read my post. I bought the Wallace & Gromit 2-Disc Special Edition at Best Buy. Where did you read that I got it at Wal-Mart. I rarely buy discs at Wal-Mart because I am a Reward Zone member at Best Buy.

The second disc IS the "3 Amazing Adventures" disc that everyone is talking about.

And it was $19.99 for the first three days, and then it went to $29.99 after that.

The Mighty Boosh 2 R2 (includes the unscreened Pilot!)
Holding On R2 (excellent BBC drama - 3 discs for £10.29)
Pride and Prejudice R2 (under £10 from Sainsburys)
Rising Damp Complete TV Series plus the Movie R2
Lost In Space Season 1 R2
Lost In Space Season 2 R2

Wimbledon R2 (if only for Miss Dunst)

Miss Congeniality 2 R2 (because Bullock is "da bomb")

All three above were in a 3 for £15 deal.

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit ($14.99 at Wal*Mart without the bonus disc, which I'm hoping was a good desicion.)
Corpse Bride ($19.99 at Wal*Mart, which came with a very cool 96-page production/story book.)
Bambi II (So sue me, I had to see it for myself.)

Buggering Nora! This film looks fantastic! I'd swear it was animated at the same time as Brother Bear! I sat watching it with my jaw on the floor! Great restoration job!
