Disney Songs Survivor :The Modern Era-Top Eight!(CLOSED)
Welcome to the eighteenth round of Disney Songs Survivor - The Modern Era!
This is a contest in which all the songs in animated theatrical Disney musicals from 1989 to now compete to determine the winner! Only songs accompanied by animation, in a movie with multiple original songs, are eligible. Three deleted songs(Morning Report, Human Again, If I Never Knew You) will be included, because they have been animated. The movies included are The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Mulan, Tarzan, Brother Bear, and Home on the Range.
Everyone is welcome! You do not need to have voted in previous rounds.
Rules are simple. The 2 songs with the most votes will leave and not make it through to the next round, there are 2 days for voting with every round.
We are voting for the songs we like least!
We each have 2 votes! You vote for 2 songs!
Please make your votes in bold if making a long post which mentions more than one film to avoid confusion.
To play, you must have at least 25 posts(including polls and games) or have joined 60 days before the first time you vote.
Voting ends Monday at 3 PM EST. Votes will be counted until I officially close the round(except in the case of a tie).
Here's the field of 75 songs! Happy voting!

Under the Sea: Might as well get rid of the last Oscar winning song!

You've gotta be kiddin' just because it has won once, it would be wrong to let it win again?? What bull****And the Nightmare songs!Raydawggie wrote: Aren't you the one who helped vote off most of the Lion King songs?![]()

Well, not wrong, but completely pointless and predictable. I mean, there really is no point in playing if we keep getting the top 5 looking like this:271286 wrote: You've gotta be kiddin' just because it has won once, it would be wrong to let it win again?? What bull****
"A Whole New World", "Beauty and the Beast", "Part of Your World", "Colors of The Wind"(a awful song, IMO) and "Circle of Life"(which would come in 5th because TLK is "so overrated"

As for Whole New World, it's not a bad song, but I can name at least 15 songs from the original list I like better.

The songs from The Nightmare Before Christmas are some of the most forgettable songs of all of movie musical history, and I didn't vote off my favorite song from The Lion King.

and I'm going to twist the tables on you and write a little something that you would probably say to me if I used a different movie, "I'm afraid your little opinion on Nightmare's songs is a minority and you shouldn't be using your opinion as a fact, because if people really though these songs were so 'forgetable', they wouldn't be raving about them all the time".Prince Eric wrote:The songs from The Nightmare Before Christmas are some of the most forgettable songs of all of movie musical history...
