OMG! Imelda Staunton is a perfect choice for Umbridge! Perfect!

Also Robbie Jarvis has been cast as the young James Potter.

Yay! Imelda Staunton is extremely good for the part of Umbridge. I don't know who the rest of those people are, but they look the part as far as I can tell, I can't wait for June 2007 (if that's when it comes out)

Imelda Stauton looks like one of those kindly old ladies that you see boy scouts help cross the street. It's hard for me to picture her playing a bitch. Maybe if she had a smug "aren't you precious?" half-smile...

Let's hope Evanna looks way better in the movie.

Eh, I'm not looking forward to this one much...nor the sixth movie. Though I'm looking forward to the Quidditch scenes! :D

I do not know why you think of boy scouts in that way...

It's from before your time, before my time, actually, and I'm what...5 years older than you? Anyway, it's an old...what's the word...I don't want to say stereotype, but for lack of a better word, it's an old stereotype that boy scouts would help old ladies cross the street. Watch an episode of "The Odd Couple" and you'll see it in the opening credits (Felix tries to help the lady, but she starts beating him and lets the boy scout help her instead).

Im sorry it has taken me so long to post, It's hard trying to juggle school and work and a social life. I read this earlier this morning and was suprised to see it. I am pleased with the choices. I do hope that the girl palying Luna portrays her properly. Looks fine to me. The fifth book was my favorite book, and I am trully hoping that they do a fantastic job with it. I hope it's awesome!

Well the producers themselves picked Evanna out of 15,000 girls so they probably got the right girl. You knew that already anyway, lol. I also hope she looks a little better when she's on the big screen.

I'm pretty sure whe'll be fine, I don't think that photo is very good for 2 reasons, 1. the smile, with a blank expression on her face she'll look completely different. And 2. It's looks liek she's wearing her school uniform in the pic, they probably snapped while she was on her way home ;)

And the only uniform that we should care about she wear is a big cape, a skirt, a tie and a wand n_n

And besdes, make up and secial effects do wonders today, not that she`s ugly, but I imagined Looney...I mean Luna rather diferent...A little more skinny

Yeah, so today I discovered that she actually is from Ireland. If she speaks with a irish accent I will be so pissed!

PS. Not everyone they cast is perfect for the role. They could have gotten a better Dudley, or Cho. Katie Leung would have been perfect except for her thick Scottish accent.......

Why are Irish or Scottish accents so bad? I mean, Hogwarts itself is most likely located in Scotland. And this is the United Kingdom after all, is it not? :P

The only thing that's currently bugging me about Evanna is she appears to have dyed her hair from what was previously a <a href="http://www.mugglenet.com/viewer/?image_ ... ppropriate "dirty blonde" color</a> to a <a href="http://www.mugglenet.com/viewer/?image_ ... -uniformly bleached color</a>. Ah well... nitpicks, nitpicks. I guess since I'm a natural blonde that's never done any coloring or treatments to my hair, it just pains me to see another blonde that does? It's cool to see that she's a big Potterhead already, however! :D

Hehe... you know, funnily enough - whenever I think of Umbridge I think of <a href="http://greeting-cards-4u.com/platinum6/ ... pg">Roz</a> from Monsters, Inc. ;) Especially when she's described as so bloated and toad-like; Roz's head and face come to my mind. LOL! But yeah, it'd be nice if they made her look a bit more "pouchy" in the film itself instead of, for instance, just portray her as a stern old woman.
Life often leaves us standing bare, naked and dejected with a lost opportunity. Over the bleached bones and jumbled residues of numerous civilizations are written the pathetic words: "Too late."

definitely like that...but she must be fat(at least with make up like they did in Shallow Hall) because she must look like a toad
