Watched the following movies in the Home Theater the past couple of evenings:
The Pink Panther - the first in the series of Peter Sellers films. One of the funniest of the bunch and Sellers was still working on his Clouseau voice so you can here how it used to sound before the later pictures.
A Shot in the Dark - The sequel to "Pink Panther" with a lucsious Elke Sommer providing the female charms to keep Clouseau from his appointed duties. The scenes in the nudist colony are the funniest ever.
Return of the Pink Panther - Third in the series of the 'Panther' films, and probably the one that most people remember the one-liners most from. This was one of the funniest in the series.
The Pink Panther Strikes Again - probably the weakest of the series. All the comedy seemed forced, and the storyline was very poor.
Revenge of the Pink Panther - Blake Edwards' seemed to have found the magic again as he guided Peter Sellers through this hilarious romp, and the things that happen to Herbert Lom are just hilarious. What a way to end the series.
Trail of the Pink Panther - After the death of Peter Sellers, this attempt to cash in on all the outtakes and edited scenes from the 'Panther' series, fell flat on its preverbial face. Supposedly Clouseau is missing and they use reminisces of what was to try to locate the missing inspector. By far the worst film in the series.
