What Disney Item did you just buy?

Post by ichabod »

OK, there are various threads all over the place for listing what new DVDs, CDs etc we've all been buying, but Disney don't just make DVDs.

Lots of us UDers buy loads of Disney stuff from Snowglobes to plushes to dolls to books to games to whatever it may be, so rather than having a load of threads all over the place, let's make it like the new DVD thread sort of thing, and have one thread where we can share what we've been purchasing our hard earned cash on.

I'll start 'er up.

Three Little Pigs DisneyStore beanies

well i've had my eye on these for a while, and i popped into my Disney Store today and they have a sale, so i managed to pick up the three little pigs, Fifer Pig, Fiddler Pig and Practical Pir for a cool £1.79 each.

Now i'll have to be on the lookout for a Big Bad Wolf! ;)

Ooo nice idea! I'll just list the discs I buy over here, since I don't buy any other soundtracks. I ordered The Little Mermaid OST. Should be arriving any day now.

This is a cool idea for a thread.

The last Disney thing that I bought..hmm...I believe that would be The Incredibles and Toy Story figurine sets that I bought for $20 at The Disney Store.

I bought this Jafar toy, but without all the cool accessories.

I also bought a Lady(Tramp not included) toy and a White Rabbit (Mad Hatter not included) toy.

They were all used, but they only cost me $2! :P

I went on a little Disney shopping spree this weekend!

Saturday, I went to this nice antique shop and bought:
Mushu, Cricket, Hamm, Jiminy Cricket, Bashful, & Sleepy plush for $1.50 each (Not used, but the tags were taken off)
Mulan's dog (Little One???) plush for $2.50 or so
Pocahontas mug for $3.00
Zeus McDonald's Plate for $3.00 (I already own Megara, Phil, the Muses, & Hercules)

Today I bought:
Incredibles ceramic bank from Kohl's, brand new, for $4!!! Really cheap, I couldn't believe it was so inexpensive.
Hand-tufted Lion King rug for $23

Also, a friend sent me some Little Mermaid stickers, Monsters Inc. lithos, and TLM lithos in the mail.

I bought the "Intergalacitc Pin Starter Set", it may look a tad nerdy but I think it's cool! :) Only true fans wouldn't care what other people think.

My hubby got me a Tinker Bell snow globe of her in Capt. Hooks Lantern from Disneydirect.com

We're going to WDW in a few weeks- so i am sure i will come home w/ a luggage bag full of stuff again.
When we went down in Oct we had to go to Walmart & buy another suitcase....so $29.99 later, I had enough room for all my wdw goodies! :)
Remind me to "pack light" this time around. haha

Just last weekend, on eBay, I picked up The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack on a double picture disc vinyl LP set; hoping to recieve it tomorrow or early next week. These pics are from another eBay auction for it, showing both sides of each picture disc:

Also, back in January at a kind of antique show/flea market at Yorkdale Mall, I picked up a set of 3 Viewmaster Reels from the late 50s: Donald Duck in Sky Hammock, Chip 'N Dale in Flying Saucer Pilots, and Uncle Scrooge in Donald's Gold Mine.

What? :P

He doesn't have his staff thingy...and his hands are freakin' huge. When I move them up, it looks like he's hitchhiking.

I bought a set of Nightmare Before Christmas figurines at the Disney Store the other day.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.
