Well I wouldn't want whoever played Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Choclate Factory to play the Joker, because Depp was terrible in that role.
I bet he would've been a better Willy Wonka if the 1971 film was never made because then we can have Johnny play a less creepy and a more crazy Wonka.

I wouldn't be surprised if Depp did choose to play this part. It's quirky, weird, and bizarre.

So are you saying that they're going to make a whole new Batman saga? I'd be kewl with that. Hopefully better than the last when they had George Clooney be Batman. EWWWW! I can't believe they did that. ;)

Don't get me wrong... Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson... priceless!

That's the plan, yes. And not to worry... Bale is still on. If they dare make another camp film, I'm sure a few fans will be more than pis$ed off. Somehow I don't see Warner going there again with all the critical slam it got from both critics and the public.

i think Depp is perfect for the role of The Joker. i can see him doing it really well. it's his kind of role. he's good at the psychotic/werid person kind of character, secret window, charlie and the chocolate factory, edward scissor hands(he's not evil but kinda freaky). He's a wonderfully diverse actor and it'd be neat to see him as the joker.

Well I can't think of anyone better than Depp to do the role. Except Leonardo DiCaprio... that guy just down right scares me. :D

How about Clayface. Could probably do some neat CGI stuff with that.

And I kept waiting for Talia to show up in Batman Begins.

I could see Depp do a great job at Joker, although Brody sounds quite interesting as well...

What about Bane (don't count Batman and Robin appearance because he wasn't plantlike in the comic books) they can make a movie based on Knightfall and KnightEnds from the comic books that took place in the early 1990's. I think the comic event ran as Knightfall and Knightends for 1993-1994. The issues that feature Knightfall and KnightEnd were Batman, Detective Comics and Showcase '93.
The story was about Bane causing major problems for Batman unleashing all of the most deadly villains from Arkham Asylum including Joker, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy and other more. When Batman put all the villains back in Arkham Asylum he was very tired and so was Robin (Tim Drake). Bane somehow found out who Batman was and where he lived he attack with the help of his henchmen and then Bane broke Batman's back.
At that time Robin went out with his girlfriend on a date or something like that. Now Robin (Tim Drake) and Nightwing (First Robin Dick Grayson) are looking to find a new replacement for Batman. They found Jean Paul Valley (who was formally known as Azrael) who took over the mantle and also created a new costume and took on Bane and beat Bane at the end of Knighfall.
In Knightquest Jean Paul Valley was learning how to fight better as Batman and even had a advantage over his villains due to his armor suit even the Joker tried to kill the new Batman but he failed as always. At that time in KnightEnd Batman (Jean Paul Valley) was going insane and killing villains instead of giving them Justice. At that point he kicks out Robin and put new passwords and codes for entering the Batcave. During this time Bruce Wayne was on a mission to cure his back and learn how to fight again with the help of Lady Shiva.
This is when Catwoman and Robin had their own series and the crossover help them in the sales. In some issues of Robin, Nightwing would help the new Boy Wonder. Then finally at the end of KnightEnd Batman (Bruce Wayne), Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing all fought Batman (Jean Paul Valley). But then Bruce wanted to face Jean Paul Valley one on one or in his words man to man.
Then Dick Grayson took over Batman mantle for some issues finding out that he wasn't good as Batman or Robin but was better as Nightwing.
Then Batman (Bruce Wayne) became Batman once and for all.

I've heard that Josh Lucas from Glory Road might be in the next Batman. I'd like to see him play a villan! He already played a evil guy in The Hulk movie back in 2003 and I would love to see him play an evil villian again because he plays it so well! I just saw Glory Road for the 2nd time last night. The movie was great. Josh was my eye candy for the night. But then again he always is.

If it is true about him being in the next Batman movie, great, if not, that's OK too.

I would like if they did that as one of the sequels..but I wouldnt want it to be the 2nd movies...because here is how i look at the movies.

Batman Begins..was more of him just becoming Batman. In this movie it shows him more of traing to becoming batman..while the last 45min shows him as Batman.

I think the next film should be called The Batman because now he is offically Batman. In this movie it should have the Joker because he would be the perfect part.

As for The Bane Story..I would think that would be good as a rd or 4th movie simply because the audience needs more of a batman...Where Bane breaks Batman back is someways like the Death of Superman..So i think they should do that in the 3rd or 4th movie.
