I think "musical film" is just a general phrasing and the idea here is to let the songs from all the animated movies compete, which includes Tarzan and Brother Bear's songs. Though I wouldn't have minded having TP included.

I thought about it, but there was only one song there, right? I only remembered it after I had already started, and since the movie was unfortunately seen by so few people, it really wouldn't have had much of a chance.

It has already been established that Tarzan is not a musical film, or at least not in the sense of the others. Can someone help me do the honors?
It's a film with music (in my definition anyway, as whilst it has songs, it isn't a musical in the same way as Beauty and the Beast etc), so it could be in there for that reason. I believe that the similar Home on the Range and Brother Bear were in this game as well, so Tarzan isn't alone.
THey're gone aren't they? Thanks for being another person in a long line of people who like to rephrase my posts to make a point.

Save Town Meeting Song!!!! It's one of Nightmare's best scenes, and Colors of the Wind is a huge threat.

Town Meeting Song

I've always thought COTW was a lame attempt for Alan Menken to get the success he got from "Beauty and the Beast" and "A Whole New World". And it didn't deserve the oscar for Best Song!

Seconded! I can think of three or four very good songs from Pocahontas, and this isn't one of them!

Poor Alan. It's not his fault. It's Katzenburg's.

Save Color of the Wind.

If producing a well-rounded, introspective, and rich animated movie is something to place blame on, then it's my fault!

There's only one real logical choice:

Colors of the Wind
