Even though I am decidedly not in the target audience, I still really liked Ice Princess (although I'm sure some of that had to do with the Buffy connection).
Buffy: We have a marching jazz band?
Oz: Yeah, but, you know, since the best jazz is improvisational, we'd be going off in all directions, banging into floats... scary.

Here are mine currently:
Everybody Loves Raymond: I know the majority of this site hates this show, but I love it! Watched almost every episode, read Ramono's book, have the cast's autograph, own Season 2 on DVD etc. In fact I even think it's a better show than the lame "Friends"! Okay I'll stop there considering I'll get avoided by everyone for a week for saying that!
Most things animated: What can I say, I'm an animation nut! Most people my age think cartoons are just for kids! Whenever I hear that I just want to burst out in an arguement!
Star Wars: Hey what can I say? Huge Star Wars fan! I even love the prequels!
UD: I go on this site TOO much I can tell you that. Now that school started, I'm going on it less, but I really need to get to work!
Candy: I really shouldn't eat my presents too fast, but I usually can't help it!
Music: Well, the more old-school music! I listen to stuff like: Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, The Doors etc. I can't even name 5 people who work in the music industry currently! That's how poor I am! I don't usually tell people what I listen too because they'd probably say, "Ha, that's what my Dad listens too"!

Yeah, but the whole reason why it would be a guilty pleasure is because you partake in it knowing that someone you know (parents, friends etc.) would shake their head in disgust and/or laugh at you.GhostHost wrote:how is star wars a guilty pleasure?

Ahh, an oldie but a goodie...
To start, guilty pleasures are things you enjoy (movies, tv, books, magazine, food, etc.) that you wouldn't readily admit to the world that you enjoy them. GP's are stuff that you don't like to say you enjoy, at least to people close to you, lest you suffer their teasing and their points and laughs. Or, of course, GP's are stuff you KNOW you'll get teased for for liking them, and you proudly proclaim it to the world (you know, like if someone went "Hey everyone! My guilty pleasure is watching Cinderella II every day of the week!")
Anyways, I don't wanna search the 5 pages to see what I listed before, so here's some off the top of my head:
Movies:
Movie Musicals - I have a soft spot for big splashy musicals with those long and drawn out dance sequences and a story that is always supported by at least 7 or 8 songs. I tried to get Kram and Jane to watch "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" once, and Jane hated it, and Kram only liked one number, but otherwise, I'm the only one in the family who truly loves big Hollywood musicals.
The Poseidon Adventure - a classic disaster flick from the 1970s that I get a kick out of watching, and still feel a lump in my throat when Shelley Winters dies...
The Girl Next Door - an awesomely bad teen sex comedy that has such a wacky plotline that you wonder why someone actually got paid to write it. But I still enjoy it from time to time.
TV Shows:
Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place - What was the 90s without these Spelling soaps? I probably preferred 90210 over MP when I was younger, but these days, I'd rather watch MP over 90210. Can't wait for the day when I read that they finally come to DVD!
Titans - perhaps the worst of the primetime soaps (not that primetime soaps are bad, but if there were a best/worst spectrum, Titans would be closer to worst than best). I enjoyed every sizzling episode during its brief run on NBC in 2000.
Phil of the Future and The Suite Life of Zach and Cody - Two Disney Channel shows I don't like to announce I enjoy to people who still think I'm normal...
Books:
Tasteless Joke Books - yeah, you know those books. The ones with the dirty jokes and the really horrible stuff you'd never repeat to your parents unless they shared your humor. I really don't know why I'm drawn to them, it's like a secret whenever I read one at the bookstore. I always look around to see that no one's looking at me, and try to hide the name of the book if anyone walks by.
Great Illustrated Classics - I loved these books as a kid, and even though I've read the REAL versions of the classics, I still like to pick up one of the Great Illustrated Classics and read it, just for old times sake. Also, they're great bathroom books, since it doesn't take long to read them. Half the book is illustrations, so you've got have the book read already! If not for GIC's, I never would have read the actual versions of A Christmas Carol, Pride and Prejudice, or The Count of Monte Cristo.
Things in General:
Fake Credit Cards - I've got this strange fascination for fake credit cards. You know, the ones you get in the mail from credit card companies asking you to sign up with them. I've got quite a collection, mainly from Capital One for some odd reason.
Receipts - Even thought I don't use them for tax purposes (not for another couple of years probably), I've probably saved every receipt of mine since 1995 or so, and have no other use for them other than a "I can't read what this says anymore!" or "So THAT'S when I bought IT!"

I don't know if I've already posting anything in this thread, and I'm to cold to look through it (that's right, too cold), so I'll just post/repost a list now.
My guilty pleasures are...
- Pretty much any anime (That's an embarrassment lightning rod at my school)
- Desperate Housewives (sometimes)
- Posting on internet forums (Not just UD, don't worry)
- Winnie the Pooh
Ever start a post thinking you had a big list and then realize that it wasn't as big as you thought it would be?
