So this shows the movie will cover time with the "adult" Simba, as well as the "infant" Simba.

Well the 3rd and 4th aren't disproving my theory this is going to be one big fart comedy.

Still, we all need to see that from time to time :D

Well, Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Xmas is the same (a mid-quel) but this is the first 1 1/2 in the title.

well BatB Enchanted Christmas is more like a sequel since it has scenes where it takes place after the first movie. if the Lion King 1 & 1/2 has scenes that take place after the second movie then it would be more a sequel. also wasnt there a Timon and Pumbaa episode where Rafiki was telling Simba and Zazu about how Timon and Pumbaa first met each other?

How do we know Lion King 1 1/2 won't have scenes set after the Lion King movie at the start and end?

We don't know yet. I guess it will, because how else will they establish the format? Somebody will have to explain the timeframe.

Plus it's not really 1 1/2 - that implies it's between 1 and 2, it should just be 1/2

I wonder if that bubbles at the "jacuzzy" have anythng to do with the fact that Pumbaa is there.....

As a Lion king fan, this is the only sequel I'm interested in, but not to much...I think it'll ruin the original film's plot.

By the way, it is going to be called "the lion king 3" outside the states...

I wonder if Lion King 1 1/2 will explain what happen between Lion King and Lion King 2. Who is this Kovu is he related to Scar. I never understand why there are evil Lions that look like Scar out of the Prideland? :? :? :?

I hope it tells what happen when Simba left Prideland. :D

Lion King 2 was ok but the first is always better.

I am quite interested to see what exactly Timon and Pumbaa were doing before they were actually introduced in the movie. I'm not that big a fan of sequals but I think this one might be a good one. :)
