According to Amazon.co.uk, The Morning Report is between The Circle of Life and I Just Can't Wait to be King.Jake Lipson wrote:Really odd that Morning Report is being placed after the other songs. On the Beauty and the Beast reissue CD, Human Again is in its proper place after Something There.
1. Circle of Life
2. Morning Report
3. I Just Can't Wait to be King
4. Be Prepared
5. Hakuna Matata
6. Can You Feel the Love Tonight
7. This Land
8. ...To Die For
9. Under the Stars
10. King of Pride Rock
11. Circle of Life - Elton John
12. I Just Can't Wait To Be King - Elton John

Listen to some samples at
http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?s ... c=109&sp=1
The instruments in "Can You Feel the Love Tonight (remix)" have changed while the lyrics remained the same.
If you already have the original 1994 soundtrack and want to save some money, you might want to skip this soundtrack.

Can someone confirm if all copies of the Special Edition CDs include a Special Edition of The Rhythm of the Pridelands? Thanks."The new soundtrack CD also includes a special edition of 'Rhythm of the Pridelands.' I'm not sure if all copies of the soundtrack have the extra CD so if you want to make sure yours does before you buy one just check to make sure it says '2 CD' on the front left spine. The whole thing is packaged very nice, with nice liner notes and new art on each disc and apparently the first CD also acts as a CD-ROM with special features."

DisneyStore.com and DisneyRecords don't have any information about the lenticular sleeve yet.
The soundtrack CD page has been updated.

Whoop-dee-freakin'-doo. I think I'll pass on that one. It was a tough decision, but I eventually said no to Hilary Duff and all of her DC cornies... I mean cronies.Starion wrote:Target is selling the exclusive 2 disc set that includes The Lion King Special Edition Soundtrack and The Rythem of the Pride CDs for $12.99. I got the Special Edition, though, simply because my 8-year-old original disc is getting really worn out. Hehe... whole chunks of songs skipped, and there was weird clicking here and there during the whole thing. Yep, I think I'll retire the ol' girl and listen to my shiny new one.

I already own the original Rhythm of the Pride Lands so the 2 disc set is not worth it for me. The Disney Store come has a Lenticular Cover that has the scene in the tree trunk where simba grows when you move it he grows and stuff it's really nifty for you that already own Rhythm! under the lenticular cover there's the original booklet and if i'm right i think it's numbered like the Limited Edition L&S and Monster's INC soundtracks.

Here's a Pic of the Limited Edtion L&S Soundtrack

According to www.lionking.org/sequels/
I went to the Disney Store twice this week. I got the soundtrack with the lenticular sleeve for $16 USD. DisneyStore.com says the price is $19 USD.
The sleeve is nice. I didn't see any mention of a limited edition or a serial number on or in the case. The booklet has some color pictures from the movie.
I didn't feel like buying the 2-CD set from Target. I already have the Rythem of the Pridelands Enhanced CD that I got from a computer store in 1995.
Speaking about ECD, the soundtrack CD has a program that allows you to access internet related features. I haven't tried them yet. I can register for a newsletter too.
The re-mixed version of "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" is really nice. It's odd hearing new instruments and vocals. The use of stereo and bass are quite nice.

The Disney Channel "Circle of Stars" music video will appear on "Disney Mania 2", coming out this spring. The original "Disney Mania" included "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" (by S-Club), "Circle of Life" (by Ronan Keating), "Hakuna Matata" (by Baha Men) and "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" (by Aaron Carter).
