Post by Raydawggie »

Welcome to the eighteenth round of Ultimate Animated Film Survivor - All Stars!

This is a contest in which 60 films voted in by the members of the UD forums compete for the title of the greatest animated film ever made! 18 are in due to their placement in the previous game, 42 have been voted in by the fans.

Everyone is welcome! You do not need to have voted in previous rounds.

Howl's Moving Castle

Well, now that the last movie I actually dislike is gone, it's sort of a crapshoot. I'll vote for the marginally weaker of the two mediocre movies left, just for strategic reasons. Plus, Howl's is too new. The other two have stood the test of time, and deserve to be the final two out of the Ghibli movies.

Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind

Sorry Dave Wadding and Mr. Toad, but strategy has changed. Right now, it really dosn't matter to me which one wins, because I won two rounds ago when Mulan was eliminated.
Best Movies of 2009:
1. Moon
2. Inglorious Basterds
3. The Hurt Locker
4. Coraline
5. Ponyo

What somebody turned on me? Good thing it was less than a week old alliance.

Worst animated film of 2005!
You really must be on drugs. By the way, have you seen the movie? Anyways easily all the animated movies, maybe except for Wallace and Gromit are worse, Chicken Little being the scum of the year down there with Madagascar.

Well if you are talking about me, I just stated my intentions, I never formed an alliance with you. But then again, I could be making a fool of myself by assuming.

Okay I apologize it wasn't the worst of 2005, there was always Tarzan 2!

But yeah I haven't seen it yet, I was just trying to make you mad! :P I now got to edit before Prince Eric comes!

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

:D

Speaking of worst of year, I guess we should start taking bids on what animated films will make my top ten list (to be announced in a few weeks), if any. Since 2000, at least one has made my list, but I can't decide which ones this year. Too many good ones and too many great live-actions. I'll start taking FYCs anytime, folks. Oh, and it's safe to say Chicken Little isn't in the running for any of my awards.
The Top 10 Films of 2005:
1) Brokeback Mountain 2) The Squid and the Whale 3) Me And You And Everyone We Know 4) The New World 5) A History of Violence 6) Match Point 7) Munich 8.) Crash 9) Wallace and Gromit 10) Pride & Prejudice

By a vote of 8-7, Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind is eliminated. Sorry, Mr. Toad! I tried!

The final round will be up in a minute!
