Mulan should be eliminated in animated film survivor.

Post by castleinthesky »

If the two day limit had been enforced, and the round would of ended on saturday, Mulan would of been eliminated. I therefore proclaim that it is unruly to go into a tiebraker, when the film of Mulan had more votes upon the two day time limit than Grave of the Fireflies. Thus we can conclude that if it had not been during the New Years/ Christmas/ Hanukah season Mulan would have been voted off. Therefore I believe it should be voted off now by default.

Who agrees with me?

I changed the time limit at a reasonable time. It's hardly like I arbitrarily changed the rules at the end of a round. Any reason why you decided to bring this up now that more than ten votes are already in in the tiebreaker? You were online when the round ended.

I don't think the time change was reasonable at all. You played it to your advantage. You foresaw that Mulan would have been voted out on Saturday. You thus changed the time, 2 days later. Thus it would give time for the rest of your alliance, which hadn't voted, time to vote, leading to a win or possible tie. And Christmas was on Sunday, so changing the end day from Saturday to Monday made no sense at all, since Saturday and Monday are both major shopping days, and days when people spend with their families. Thus there is no backing behind changing the round ending time at all.

castleinthesky- Are you just mad because Mulan has a chance of being the winner and the film you want to see win might not win?

FYI, currently GOTF is WINNING the tiebreaker! So does that make you happier?

Well if it goes on to win, the rightfull movie will have won the tiebraker, but it does not, like how most of the recent tiebrakers go, it will be eliminated. But unlike the other tiebrakers, this round has been changed in favor of a Mulan win.

I changed the time Saturday morning. Less than 24 hours after the start of the round.

Well the round started on Thursday at 3PM ET. So then it would of been finished Saturday at 3 PM ET.

Yes, you're right. I changed it Friday afternoon. My mistake. You can check the date of when I said it.
